**Tom Brady on PODCAST must listen**

from 26:00 minutes on till when they start talking about the fatalities is the meat of the convo... everything else is bleh
 
It was a good listen until they got side tracked about blood and gore. Tom Brady was on point and I enjoyed his perspective on MK9- Just wish there were more discussion about game play etc....

Lol did everyone miss the part where they bashed TRMK for being a scrub site that only cares about fatalities and gore?

Anyway it was an awesome listen that guy really knew his stuff. If he was right about MK stuff then maybe we are a scrub site :O

How is that even a questions? Of course this site is extremely casual oriented.
 
Well thats why I'm here, I want to try to push for a competitive scene at different forums. Or at least aware them of the competitive scene with fighting games. MK is a fighting game correct?

I agree 100% playing a fighting game and not keeping up to date with the competitive scene is redundant.
 
Thanks for sharing, it's a great listen for all online players.

For the TRMK hate it's just more of a problem of our size, we're a large site that has a broad focus and we're reaching out to everyone at once and not just focusing on one part of the game. There is a LOT of MK stuff to cover and lots of different fans, we try to cater to all of them.

I hope he's wrong that NRS won't fix online and other issues and just focus on selling more DLC. However, I have a bad feeling that he's hit the nail on the head with this one. Cash-cow-ality!

What he mostly said is they aren't "redoing netcode" which means they wont spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to redo the netcode. NRS wants to make it better, trust me on this, but a drastic change is not going to happen. But they will hopefully get many patches out to fix issues and make it incrementally better.

I think the comments were partially about us who run it and for the large user community we have that are not the hardcore players that they are. I don't agree with hate between sites, each site has their own focus and community.

I think the comments were partially about us who run it and for the large user community we have that are not the hardcore players that they are. I don't agree with hate between sites, each site has their own focus and community.

And I absolutely DESPISE players who think they are high and mighty because they are more "Hardcore" than other players

I think thats just the emotion that you are feeling when someone takes a game and wants to excel at it. Maybe you should try to excel at something so you can feel high and mighty.
