yes and no. Rebirth was a 7 minute pitch video that was used in an attempt to get warner bro's to greenlight its production in a movie. WB said no, but offered to finance a web-only series of episodes which they dubbed Legacy and promptly began to ruin it.

imagine if Mk10 had the skins of characters from/inspired by the REBIRTH video short as alternate or unlockable costumes.

I have my personal preference, but as long as there's A Sub-Zero in MK10, though, I don't really care which version it is, at this point.
