the one thing since mkda which has been severely lacking is special moves. characters like reptile who dont have their forceball, sindel without her float and aerial fireball. these characters among others need their signature moves back in this game. lets hope boon does that.

Good post, dude.

Indeed, seeing that the MK team have gone Hardcore in every aspect of this game. It would be gay not to include all of the characters signature moves including the ones you outlined above, man. Some people may feel that certain moves are useless and therefore not necessary in MKA. I say "NO" I'd love to see every special move and normal move ever made. Seeing as we have every character and almost every level, why not include every move and then some?

I know for a fact that Scorpions "Scissorleg" takedown move has been omitted yet again. I also bet you that Kabal will not have his groundsaw special intact, but instead they will bring back that retarded "Come fukme Bounce Off" move. Pathetic

LOL but kabal's the man:p everyone wants a piece of the old kaba

maybe they might have scorpions leg takedown as a part of his fighting style. that way it would get around it having to be a 'move' and be just a directional kick.

midway's stances arent that great because some of the fighting stances the characters use are technically and soundly stupid. i teach martial arts and you never fight using some of the stances found in th newer mk games.

True that. But I always thought that two stances would have been sufficient in MKDA.

Weapon Stance and a good Fighting Stance.

But that's just me.

see the problem for me is that some of the martial art stances didnt even fit a character. since when does a ninja do hapkido? it would be just ninjutsu. so i tihnk they were scraping the barrel with the previous 2 games. i agree man, 1 weapon, 1 unarmed. makes it simple i think.

Hapkido fit Scorpion's style so well though! Reality can go f**k itself for all I care the only thing that matters is that they look cool!

well see the thing is though you still have to be fairly authentic to the characters style. i mean you dont see Ryu in Street Fighter have a fighting style of sumo do you? its all relative.

I never really gave much thought to that. I guess I don't really care:mrgreen:

But the point about Ryu is very valid, dude. Imagine Sagat with Chun Li's fighting styles? HAHAHAHA. Sad.

Ninjutsu (忍術) is a collection of techniques originally practiced for espionage purposes. It includes methods of gathering information, non-detection, avoidance, and misdirection techniques. Ninjutsu can also involve training in disguise, escape, concealment, archery, medicine, and explosives.

I got that from Wikipedia.

good info chief. ninjutsu is a fully realised martial art with quite a number of legitimate schools in our local area here.

i generally dont care what the characters do either but if they are going to be given something with a 'name' then at least make it relevant.
