This how Superman should look in MKDCU.

I was thinking of that last one (the energy-based superman) as an alt for Supes. Although the first pic would do equally well. Comic book characters have a variety of costumes so it shouldn't be hard at all to find an alt costume or two for any of these characters.

I think most of the DC characters are going to look like they normally do. I dont think they will give them a Mortal Kombatesque look to them. Reason is because as the story goes, both those universes come together. So naturally each side will look like they normally do when in their own universe. Hence the batman attire. Superman probably will have his trademark blue tights with red boots suit.

True, but their alternate costumes are open to be exploited. I like some of the looks from the above links and it'd be pretty cool to see some of them as alternates for Superman.

I got thinking again, we could be seeing a lot more alt costumes in MK vs DC, because of the option to have them as downloadable content. I know I go on and on about DLC, but it's one way to vastly improve a game and it's lifespan. =P

I too am hoping for DLC. We could even get more characters available, for a price of course. However, I'll be getting this for the PS3 because IMO the pad is better for fighting games, and DLC tends to arrive earlier on 360. Either way I guess I'll lose out.

I like the 360 controller better in almost every single way. The ONLY complaint I have with the 360 controller is that shoulder triggers require more effort to press than the simple buttons on the PS123 controller. I have this same complaint with the Gamecube controller. But other than that I'm very happy to get it for the 360. If there's DLC that would be amazing. They're talking downloadable characters for SCIV so I see no reason MK can't jump on that bandwagon. Alternate costumes are the very least I'm hoping for.

I can't use the analogue sticks on fighting games, I just can't do it right. It's hard to explain, I just can't. And with the 360 D-pad I keep hitting diagonals instead of horizontals and verticals because it's a raised pad on a ball pivot, whereas the PS and GC pads are under the shell. The GC's D-pad was just too tiny to use, and tbh all the edges were so sharp it actually hurt to use for any great length of time, which is why I got a PS2 pad converter to play MKD, which now serves me on the Wii for playing MKA. Chances are in due time I'll get the 360 version too, for the achievments.

Yeah overall i think the 360 controller is better than the PS controllers. PS are too boney, while 360 fit right into your hands and everything is comfortable. But the thing i hate on the 360 pad is the Dpad, its like 3rd party controller crap. It really sucks, where as nintendo and PS controllers always have great Dpads.

The Analogue sticks are definately best on the 360 controller, the thumb indents really keep them glued to your fingers. The Wii and GC ones aren't too bad either, but on the PS controllers my thumbs keep slipping off. I guess the PS controller is my favourite overall, but I've been a PS player for longer than XB or Nintendo (I was a Sega kid before that)

I agree with all of those points. Traction and analog placement are my major complaints with the PS controller. But I will give it to you that the D-Pad on the xbox lends itself to mistakes due to it's raised nature. I played Soul Calibur IV on the PS2 and I really liked the D-Pad, but at the same time I was annoyed that I couldn't push diagonals when I wanted to. I had to switch to the analog stick to input diagonally. So when I think of it, the Xbox has the D-Pad within reach, it's large, and it allows me to input diagonals. I just have to be careful to only input what I want when I want it. Plus I don't have a PS3. Expensive ****ers they are.

I'm amazed by how many people seem to overlook the PS D-pad. Frankly I think it's just about worst, most ill-conceived idea for a D-pad ever, let alone to make it through 3 console generations.

It's interesting to see how far this thread has digressed from it's original point, lol.

To fit in, I do enjoy the X-Box 360 controller a helluva lot more than the PS3 one, it just seems to meld to my hands, what more could I want?

To get back on topic, I hope that there are several alts for each character and one of them is an MK-inspired look. It'd just be nice for DC to pay homage to MK, seeing as they're the ones borrowing our franchise for their own ends.

they should be his costumes but his alternate ones. they should keep it original for those who like classics.
