They need to change the "GET OVER HERE!!" sound bit....

You know what would be sweet though? If they gave him fairy wings, and instead of a sword, they gave him a wand.
 
Sometimes change isn't a good thing. In this case, the sound is iconic to Scorpion's character. It's kind of like taking the hoop out of Basketball. The game just doesn't work without it.
 
So basically....if they were to redo it with a new demonic tone of voice with every bit the rage it always had and maybe more....that it would be unacceptable and would feel like taking the basket out of basketball? I just don't see how that can be. The phrase would still remain in all its glory. But it could use a facelift IMO. I mean if that's really the case than how come nobody is up in arms about costume changes? Might as well leave him in the simple yellow GI and call it a day since its so classic right? I certainly would NOT like that but seems like most of you would.
 
Well i think mabie NRS team can record multiple samples for Scorpion saying "GET OVER HERE" and "COME HERE" so every time Scorpion says it it sound different from the last one so it wont sound repetitive. Mabie something like this "Get OVER Here" "Get OVER HERRRRE" "Come HERRRRE" "Come HERE" ect...
 
The announcer doesn't say the lines "Get Over Here" or "Comeeer", Ed Boon does. C'mon you guys everyone knows that!

I think it would be awesome if they brought back the recording of his voice from MK2/UMK3, or Ed tried to replicate it. That's just my preference; after all these years it still sounds incomparably bad ass.
 
Heres the thing. The voice that is being used has been in existence for 14 years. The other voices were used over a span of 1-3 years. We have become too accustomed to the current voice it would be stupid and fearful if they decide to change it and might end up ruining it. But I have to admit, i like this iteration the best. The movie voices would be awesome as well. Just dont make a new one.
