Ok, it's probably because I've been obsessed with the license as of late...but doesn't Reptile in MK9 seem to have influences from Predator? Notice the armor in his default outfit and his physicality.

Nah... I think he's more like a velociraptor from Jurassic Park.

I knew this had "something" to do with Predator, lol. But idd can't see the influence, the cyborgs though are slightly based on Preds.
 
I guess his growl is sort of similar to the predators. The cyber ninjas were designed to look like the Predators in MK3. The helmet and dreadlocks give it away. Cyrax's self destruction fatality from MK3 is very similar to the predator from the first movie too, right down to the laugh.

Well I knew that, but recently I've been watching all the Predator films (including AVP and AVPR) and going back to play Concrete Jungle. It just seems to me that Reptile's MK9 armor, claws, and feet are very similiar to a Yautja. Plus, the match intro with the invisibility is a dead giveaway.

Come to think of it, seeing how I probably missed the "Guest Character" thread when Freddy was revealed, Predator would be awesome for MK. The ultimate hunt!
