The Punisher

SO who liked this movie? I must say, I did. Nowadays, most movies have all the big kung fu style set ups, but it was nice to see a movie that had good old fasioned brute force and guns. For me it was enjoyable and certainly better than some of the other action movies that have come out recently that have just plane been stupid. What are some other thoughts?
 
I really enjoyed it... I thought it was a much better comic movie that the previous ones... like the Hulk... :roll:
 
I just know I'm going to get flamed for this, but it's only my opinion.

I thought it was only okay. I thought there could have been a lot more killing, I mean come on! This is The Punisher we're talking about here. I also felt that a big part of the movie was more comedic than dramatic, like the scenes when he was in that apartment with the other three characters. The Punisher isn't suppose to to be funny!! *possible spoiler ( I mean his family was just murdered! )However, I did like the end though when he started killing people *another spoiler ( when he put that commando knife through that guy's mouth, that was very satisfying )

I just was expecting more, but that's my opinion.
 
well for a movie to stay so close to the comic book amazes me and makes me very happy (i'm a huge comic book fan girl by the way...) oh and if you guys liked the movie go get the trade paper bake Welcome Back Frank... that's were they got the idea from


all and all great movie (i still rank daredevil as the best comic into movie adaption and spiderman as my fav.... not that being a _huge_ fan of spidey has anything to do with that judgement) :roll:
 
The Punisher owned...here it got like 1/5 stars and it was a kick ass movie :shock: although it cud have bbeen longer...mostly at the end cuz it was kinda short...but he sure did get back at that guy 8)

DareDevil? Ugh. Worst adaptation ever. So incredibly friggin' cheesy.

Anyway, The Punisher was definitely up there with my fave adaptations ever, although I still think the original (the eighties version, the one with Dolph Lundgren) was as good or better. Spiderman and X2 still hold dibs in my book as the best comic book adaptations.
 
To me, The Punisher Movie was a great movie, like Spider-Man 1 and 2 along with X-Men 1 and 2 and Blade 1 and 2. Haven't seen Blade:Trinity, but I am sure it will be good as well. The first two Batman movies were good, then the others sucked. Hopefully the new Batman movie, Batman Begins, which is how he first started as Batman, will be great. The Hulk was so-so and DareDevil could have been better with some changes, but I wouldn't say it was a terrible movie. Hopefully Elekta would be a better movie. HellBoy, I thought it was ok. The Superman movies, well I wasn't into them really. Maybe the next Superman movie will be good.
