Well then I'm not sure what else to say about it.
It was a really low possibility that I would get the nature I wanted AND shiny, but it wasn't impossible.

Reaver doubts everything in existence. You'll have to excuse him. It IS possible to get those things. It's just extremely rare.
 
Even though I'm the one that posted the FACTS on the likelihood of getting shinies.

The chances of getting a shiny is 1 in 8,192 or 0.01%. That percentage can be lowered. I call major BS on getting the desired nature as well as a shiny on the same Pokemon. The chances of that are insane. There are 25 natures. The chances of what you said you got is like 1 in 204,800.

There is the masuda method though. You can increase your chances to 1,366. But getting the right nature even with that method is 1 in 34,150.

Then D Dog says he gets a Xerneas with perfect IV's. The chances of that are 1 in 1,073,741,824. No, I am not exaggerating. Look it up.

BBBLP wants a grimer, gets a shiny grimer with the nature he wanted. You get a shiny haunter on the first one you find. D Dog gets a Legendary with perfect IVs. If you fail to see how this is unbelievable, you fail to read the facts of the odds. Look at the numbers.

I posted a picture of a single shiny Pokemon and he call that shit fake.

He posts a picture of half a box of shiny Pokemon and he wants us to think he's the shit :laugh:
 
I didn't get those within 9 days of the game releasing. I've been working on those since Gold and Silver.

Tell me... do you believe D Dog? That he got a Xerneas that's 1 in 1,073,741,824?

That's one billion.
 
8 days isn't anything. I found a shiny Sandile the second day I played White.

And even though D Dog's perfect Yveltal is extremely unlikely, it isn't impossible. He wouldn't be able to get that to happen again if his life depended on it.



I've only had 4 shinys.
First ever was a Golden Magikarp that turned into a Red Gyarados in Saphire.
An Orange Cacnea in Emerald
Inverse Sandile in White
And The Green Grimer I hatched.
 
Well it's just really unbelievable since all 3 of you got something so rare within a week of the game coming out. Like I said before... either there is something really fcked up with this game, or there is bullshitting going on. I've spent many many hours breeding and searching for shinies, so I know how rare it is. I never bothered with Magikarp though. Everyone and their Mom has a shiny Gyarados.
