Come People. I may be giving a byast opinion but...IM PISSED THAT QUAN CHI AND SHANG TSUNG WERE KILLED OFF!!!!
These were, along with most of the ninjas, my favourite kombatants. Does anyone else think that they got screwed over. In truth there's no real way they can be revived. Shoa Kahn wouldn't do so. They can't revive themselves....im sorry.
Comment anyone???
 
You forget my young padiwan that:

"No character ever really dies in Mortal Kombat!"

So don't be surprised to see Tsung and Chi come back soon. They could be revived by Shao Kahn to work for them or something like that.
 
but shao kahn died in da with shang tsung and quan chi and the only reason y characters usually come bk in the next game is because they make it in the past like deception is just b4 mk1
 
Wrong Shaolin. In DA it was a clone they killed. It says so on the Gamecube version of MKD.

What the hell? MKD before MK1? Maybe only in Konquest but the actual story and arcade mode? It's the latest in the story.

Shang and Quan may be dead but they are not "dead" dead.
 
Yeah shao kahn was just a clone in DA and they died in Deception because Raiden had no choice but to make the bomb and sadly died. Of course no one truly dies in MK, why else would Raiden be in Deception?

I bet shang tsung will come back, and so will quan chi.
 
But no matter what the deadly alliance is gone for ever,quan chi and shang tsung may be alive,but they won't be an alliance no more....
but why is that in general deception?
 
Quan Chi is not dead. Shang Tsung is dead, well not "dead" dead cuz like always, he can come back. But Quan Chi did not die!!!

I have this crazy belief Quan Chi is coming back in the next mk. Watch the clues. In the deception intro, Watch the part before raiden blows the whole place up. DON'T BLINK. One mila-second before the blast reaches Quan Chi, he glows green and spins around. Teleporting to safety before he would die, Leaving the amulet behind so everyone thinks he is dead and the dragon king doesn't look for him. And that whole thing at the end of shoalin monks that doesn't quite add up? It would be nice of midway to make sense of this in the next mk.
 
You take into recall from the MKSM ending because that is before MK2. Quan Chi isnt seen untill MK4. He was dressed in Deadly Alliance clothes tho....maybe time warp? Or a hint to a new game or something.
 
i don't know but now i'm getting really anxious becuase of that lil part w/ quan chi in decpetion. Where he turns green and looks like he teleports. I don't know if this is what really happened, but omg i NEED answers!!!!! :o :shock: :o :shock:

Its an interesting theory. I too noticed that he turned around just before Raiden blew up the palace. I just assumed that Quan and Shang turned around because they were trying to stop Raiden from killing everyone.
 
all I noticed of Q-chi is he says 'What are you doing?' to Raiden.

I'm blind.

I just checked it out, Q-Chi's glow is only around his hands where he was firing spells at Onaga. He does however turn to run away when Raiden's blast finally succeeds. But it should be noted this may be just his lame attempt to sheild himself from the blast, Shang also tries this but a lot later then Q-Chi (Q-Chi must have guessed sooner what Raiden was up to). Maybe he did get away... We'll see. He is one of the MK teams fav. characters (don't know why though).

I like that theory. I still have that Intro movie on my PC, but I still can't see him do the thing you just said. Pretty detailed if it's really true, I so hope so anways :)
 
I'm a little tired of characters NEVER dying. I thought Midway was getting its act together by killing Goro, Kahn, and Kang. I thought we were finally getting down to business and letting characters who have had their moments go down for good. Now, at the end of MK:D, ALL of them have come back. There's no drama if everytime a character dies everyone expects them to come back.
 
how can i download the intro for my pc? on my ps2 if you miss it you have to reset and basicly it takes forever to finally notice it. WIth my computer i could probably slow motion and pause it to see it easier. ANyne Know?
