Do you think they will have that war in that desert area like in the trailer as the beggining video...or will will it be something else?
 
Chances are they did not waste all that cinamatics on the trailer, so i presume that the desert Scene will be somewhat part of the beginning video although its too short to be the whole thing so probobly they will have more cinamatics on it
 
Well if you look at the cinematic trailers from MK:D they never made it into the intro. The huge cinematic fight between Baraka and Mileena? The Scorpion vs. Quan-Chi video? The Scorpion Kata practice video? They were all alot of work too and they were blatantly absent as well. I think the opening video will likely wrap up the Deception storyline just as before and bring us full swing into the Blaze conflict.
 
I completely doubt that the dessert scene will be in the beginning movie. They show all the warriors fighting eachother so I think the Armageddon movie will show more information about why Armageddon is coming and why Blaze is so important in the new story.
