Gamescom: Multiplayer Announced For Angry Birds Star Wars

Activision has announced that multiplayer is coming to Angry Birds Star Wars for the first time in the series when the console version releases in October.

In a new trailer released at Gamescom, two multiplayer modes were revealed for the forthcoming console version including a 2-4 player competitive mode and a 2-player co-operative mode, both which appear to be based on turn-based gameplay. You can watch it below.


Angry Birds Star Wars is coming to Xbox 360, PS3, Vita, Wii, Wii U and 3DS on October 29th, and we hope to get hands on with the new multiplayer modes at Gamescom, expect a preview soon.

Angry Birds sucks. I don't know why it has such a large fanbase, besides the little kids who play it.

Not hating on you, hating on the game.

It's pretty much the opposite of fun, lol.
 
I have Angry Birds Star Wars on my iPad (and I'm not even a fan of Star Wars). I also have Bad Piggies (Which I actually really like). It's not that I am a fan of the series, it's just something to have that kills time when waiting. However, I do have a fair amount of other apps on my iPad that can clearly kill the time better than Angry Birds.

Of course, I was at one time, a fan of the series. But then it just kept getting repetitive and I found another new interest. One that I am sadly to say, is Candy Crush. But I'm not addicted to the game, it's just a frustration that I like to defeat.
