tekken players dont have to worry much about tiers, the world champion won a tournament with yoshimitsu

Not arguing the point because tier list arguments are everywhere but I don't believe in them. I play with who I like and I stick with the ideal that its the player that wins the fight not the character.
 
Both players and characters determine the outcome of the match. Playing as character with unfavorable match-ups means they have to work harder win, getting good reads and punishing the opponent as hard as possible. It would be like playing a variation of chess where one player only has pawns and a king, while the other player starts with a king the rest are queens. If tiers did not matter there would be no need for balance patches in MK9 or any other competitive game for that matter.

Like I said I'm not arguing. This is the tekken thread not the tier thread. I'm sure there's a tier thread designed specifically for this flamebait topic let's leave it there and talk about christie's boobs or sum other happier tekken related topic.

I'm the same way man. Just do NOT like tier lists. But that's just me. They work for some people and that's fine. But personally, I say **** em' (the lists.. Not the people). My name is Michael, and I'm a Hwoarang player.
 
I really want Armor King to kill Marduk.


Then King turns against him and they become rivals.
Not like the rivals they used to be, but wanting to kill each other rivals.
