It's fake. It's a portrait of someone ( A model, perhaps), but definitely not MK.

EDIT:

I take that back. The lighting is totally off. Compare this portrait with everyone else's. Why is there light hitting the back of her head not the left side of her face like everyone else?

The player select icons in MK9 and MKX are so boring. They are all the same pose. They should make them all different like older games.

I'm fine with the boring icons. At least the lame portraits are gone. I got so tired of everybody making those shitty Frankenstein fanarts with the VS renders

They have unique animations at the VS screen now, which is much better imo. And makes up for the weak icons.

You do know that the icons in the select screen are random and not necessarily MK characters right? Boon already confirmed this.

Speaking of Tanya, wow, she looks GORGEOUS and very feminine. I love her hair like, please, please let that be real! I don't really like her looks from MK4. I liked her hair and outfit in Deception though!
