Judging from the past behavior of the MK design team, and considering what they will have to work with, I believe Mokap will be worse than Stryker as far as plot goes. I always liked Stryker's background, setting him as the lone survivor of a Kahnocaust.

Stryker no matter what the anti-Stryker hate fans say, is a good character. He posessed some absolutely awesome popup combos that in conjunction with his gun made for lethal punishment onto his enemies. I just love that fucking gun and all the blood that squirts out.
Hope he as some sortof gun combo this time round.

I hate to admit it, but even though I don't like both of them, but I prefer Stryker over Mokap. Mokap shouldn't be in this game at all.

obviously Mokap will do worse, even though its obvious that the new Stryker outfit couldve been ripped from Duke's costume in G. I. Joe: Sigma Six. but anyways, Stryker will pwn his way onto the 3D realms in no time

Those are motion capture bulbs, and without them we probably wouldn't have the great CGI effects in movies or terrific animations in videogames today! He's a good martial artist because he is the one doing all hte moves so u can have realistic shit in all ur games and movies. That's why he pwns Stryker anyday!

Stryker is going to own in this game, he was really good in the MK3 serie's too IMO. Most people hate him just because of his storyline being a cop. I don't think there's nothing wrong with a cop being in the MK universe, its just bringing something different into the MK universe. Like Johnny Cage, he's very different from all the other characters in the serie's.
Stryker's part in MK wasn't completely useless either as the makers of the games wanted to create two characters that survived a massive Outworld attack in the Earthrealm. The survivors were Stryker and Kabal. So if your saying Strykers storyline is useless than your saying Kabals is too.
Kabal is much more cooler than Stryker by far and is far more popular, especially after Deception. But Stryker still has some cool abilities that other warriors don't even have close to such as Stick Ross, Grenades and the Machine Gun ability. Not including Jax in Deadly Alliance, I was so pissed off to see that move gaven to Jax. He stole Stryker's trademark move, aarrgghh.
Stryker is cool as I have explained. He is a dude like Johnny Cage and Jax. Mokap however is the only character in the MK serie's that I hate and I am the worlds biggest MK fanatic. I say this because his storyline was the only one useless, it has no part in the MK storyline hardly. His whole ending was just him being back in Earthrealm and completing his task which is finishing his stunts in a movie.
Mokap's costume is not cool however, as Strykers are wicked ass. His costume is just blue and black with big white balls on it. He even has balls on his head. His special moves are so original and boring. Although I guess I can give the dude a break. Since Mokap technically is Carlos Pesina and without this dude Mortal Kombat wouldn't exist to this day.
I can understand that the MK legacy has changed Carlos life alot and its one of his favourites but that dosen't mean he has to be the series. He might've played one of the most biggest parts of making the MK games, but that still than again dosen't mean he has to be in the series.
So I cross my fingers and hope they give Mokap a more interesting and important storyline to the series. With more upgraded moves, has a weapon, and has an alternate costume that is cool and not gay like his original.

First off Stryker was an awsome character, but Mokap was a mix of the best fighting styles in MK
