Yes and no. It's NOT off because It's unlikely that many of the brutalities needs any serious pre-requisits. Point being, it seems like quite a few of these brutalities are probably going to happen accidentally. We don't know what conditions will have to be met in order for certain brutalities to happen. My point was that while it's the case that certain things have to be met in order for these brutalities to happen, many of them might end up being accidental because they might correlate with how someone plays their game. Obviously, if you're intentionally trying to pull off a certain brutality, it's going to limit your play but I'm suspecting that isn't what brutalities are meant to really do.
For example, say you're in a tournament and you're just fighting someone and you blocked 75% of the time and did a zoning game for most of the match. You're about to win and you throw you last fireball and your opponent explodes into a ball of fire. You didn't intend for that to happen, but it DID happen. I think some of these brutalities are there to spice up the fight.
