I totally agree with you on Khameleon! Her story is about the race of raptors and how they were all killed by Shao Kahn. SHE NEEDS TO BE IN THE GAME!!!

And yes my name is about what I often talk about. lol ;-)

Also what can I say about the story...

I've read in the "themortalkombat.com" forums that Mileena and Liu Kang might have such rivalry since Mileena's posters show her killing some guy with long hair and it can be Liu Kang. I'm not saying that she will kill him but I think the two might have beef against eachother for 2 reasons I can think of. 1) Is if Mileena officially kills Kitana or 2) If Mileena has some kind of lust or interest towards Liu Kang but he rejects her and keeps Kitana instead. In other words, Mileena is mad at Liu for having Kitana instead of her.

i always felt like human smoke was like a scorpion clone they threw in to pacifier us scorp fans,he needs his own moveset in my opinion,i was thinking what if smoke was the first prototype for automation and he was more of a visual mixture of machine and flesh and retains his soul but goes crazy from the process,sorta like the cyber ninja in the metal gear solid series

I'm not really seeing how they've completely changed the Sub Zero brothers' storyline; the only major change that I can see, based on the video vignette that the developers released, is that they've moved Bi Han's death to before the events which were originally chronicled in MK1 instead of during them.

Instead of Jade aiding Kitana and turning against Kahn, she remains allied with him and actually hunts down KItana alongside Mileena and Reptile. Before KItana can actually convince Sindel of her true past, Jade kills either one of them (kitana or sindel, though it would probably be kitana since kahn wouldnt want sindel dead if that plot is undertaken again!)... just thinking it would be a nice twist

I really like this idea, this could kill off Sindel and make Kitana queen. That could really open up the story.

The Raptors have always been long time rivals of the Tarkatans. The Raptors are also more disciplined and organized than them. The Raptors run the Tarkatans out of Outworld. Baraka demands that Kahn undo this. Kahn, needing no weaknesses in his army, banishes Baraka and the Tarkatans from Outworld. Too small too invade a realm on their own, they are forced to join the Forces of Light. Baraka has an ace up his sleeve however, he knows that Kahn is the reason the Raptors went extinct in the first place. All he needs to do is get close enough to tell him. Reptile will use his army to fight Kahn's. While they destroy each other from the inside, Baraka and his horde will rip them to shreds on the outside. He will then take the Emperor's throne for himself. The Forces of Light who were foolish enough to help him get to this point will soon face an evil no one thought possible.

~Noob's identity crisis~
When Noob Saibot AKA Bi Han hears about his murderer entering the tournament to finish off his brother, he figures this is his chance for revenge. Noob uses his Lin Kuei knowledge to create a Cyborg from Oni corpses and demon technology. The Cyborg codenamed NS001 or Venom, is sent to Earthrealm to murder Kuai Liang AKA young Sub-Zero. When Kuai enters the Netherrealm, Noob tracks him. Using an ancient wraith technique, he transfers all of his sins and corruption onto Kuai. Transforming him into a wraith. The sinless Bi Han is ascended to Earthrealm. Having unparalleled knowledge of Hell, he knows how to kill Scorpion and have him stay dead. Scorpion is killed and is forever lost in Hell. Kuai finds Scorpion wandering the wastes of Hell. When they see each other they realize what just happened. The only way for them to get back is through one man, Shinnok. If they can't get back in time, the immortal Bi Han will unleash Hell on Earth.

Baraka's story was really interesting, but Noob's...THAT WAS SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) + rep for you my friend!!!!!

I want bitter fights to happen between the two throughout the story. I want to get to chapters where sub and scorps cross paths again, then without any dialogue i can think "oh man, here we go again!". If NS can create some epic showdowns, then the two characters will be even more iconic than before.
Their fighting was short lived. Bring it back.

This doesn't seem far from reach either, with this sub-zero being the older one. I just hope scorpion doesn't kill him right after he comes back as a spectre.

^I agree with this.

I really hope the Scorpion and Sub-Zero rivalry goes headstrong in this one. BUT, I hope it leads to something different. Depending on how this story goes, I would like Noob Saibot to enter the rivalry even if only for a bit. If Noob still teams up with Smoke in this timeline (I know this will be past MK9), then they could maybe lead up to a quick and brief alliance of Scorpion and Sub-Zero to fight against Noob and Smoke utilizing the the tag-team system.

Then again, I don't know how they would continue the Sub-Zero and Scorpion rivalry afterwards and that would cause the previous problems in the games with the rivalry. So, obviously, if they couldn't find a decent way to continue the rivalry after it, I'm against it happening, but if they can, I think it'd be awesome.

Raiden/Reptile's Redemption:
Thousands of years ago, The Elder God Shinnok attempted to take Earthrealm from it's protector, Raiden, the God of Thunder. With the aid of the other Elder Gods, he managed to defeat Shinnok, but at a price. The war had forced Earthrealm's main species, the Saurian, to relocate to a new planet.(All of that is fact. Here's where the alternate reality part kicks in.) Up until a few years ago, he had thought the war had extincted them. However, during Shao Kahn's invasion of Earthrealm, Raiden saw a glimpse of a human dressed in green. Raiden knew immediately that it was a Saurian cloaked as a human. The once thought extinction of the Saurians that had been in the back of his mind for so long was brought out into forethought. He knew he had to set things right. He tracked the Saurian, named Reptile, he found out. Once he found Reptile, the Saurian attacked him, knowing he was against his master Shao Kahn. Raiden, being a god, defeated him easily. He then transported himself and the unconscious Reptile to the Nexus. When Reptile woke, Raiden spoke to him about his race's lineage. He then offered Reptile a choice. Stay with Shao Kahn and be defeated....................... or join the Earthrealm warriors as a spy to protect his race's former grounds and have his clan resurrected. To prove his honesty, Raiden resurrected a dead Saurian by the name of Khameleon. He saw the female Saurian and accepted the offer without hesitation. He then traveled to Outworld to pass the message to another Saurian, Chameleon, who also accepted. The Quartet, including Raiden, Reptile, Chameleon and Khameleon, traveled to Earthrealm to inform the other warriors. With the two spies, victory was inevitable.

Anyone else think konquest mode in MK deception was the best? It wasthe only story mode in MK where you could fully explore every realm. I loved running around edenia and earthrelm, and talking to randoms and doing errands for people like scorpion and Shang tsung lol.

Also, it wasn't crappy action-style gameplay like in MK Armageddon, u actually engage in MK style fighting with the people u fight... It was awesome
