That is what I always thought. I've always wanted to see Black Dragon members working together.

Konflict between Goro & Kintaro:
When Kintaro enlists into Shao Kahn's ranks, he brings a "gift". The daughter of a rebel in the Shokan revolution, Sheeva. Goro notices the resemblance of Sheeva and an old friend Goro had. When Goro left Kintaro in charge of the Shokan empire, he told Kintaro to protect a certain rebel and her daughter because they had been a lifelong friend of Goro. When Goro realizes what Kintaro had done to please the emperor, he demands that Sheeva be released. Kahn demands Goro learn his place. Goro challenges Kintaro to mortal combat with intentions of freeing Sheeva if he wins. Kahn refuses to let this happen as he needs all the help he can get to defeat the forces of light. Goro, enraged by Kahn's selfishness, strikes Kintaro. The two engage in a massive battle that nearly destroys Kahn's throne room. Kahn knocks them both out with his hammer. Goro awakens in the dungeons. He quickly subdues the guards and takes Sheeva out of the palace. He seeks refuge in Kitana's army camps. He agrees to enlist in her armies to kill the traitors at any cost.

I encourage you guys to post your own alternate realities. Don't leave me hanging bros :)

Jade should turn good and become one of the main heroes which includes Kitana, Liu Kang, Sonya, Johnny Cage, Jax, Kung Lao, and Raiden. Therefore, Kitana can have Liu Kang and Jade can have Kung Lao. Sonya can have Jax and Johnny Cage while they are in a love triangle. ;-)

Sindel should remain evil for the later games or I think it would alright for her to turn good as she fights alongside the heroes for a while and get killed later on, making Kitana the Queen of Edenia.

It would be great if Younger Sub-Zero and Scorpion work together with the heroes (mentioned above) in fighting evil while they still have this rivalry going on. (Similar to Kyo and Iori from King of Fighters.)

Mileena can either die in the game or she can survive and become a very powerful boss in future games she is an iconic villainess. (Imagine a female Shao Kahn.)
 
Oh, about the love triangle of Sonya, Jax, and Cage; Stryker can join the heroes and somehow hook up with Johnny, leaving Sonya and Jax together. ;-)

Khameleon can still have the same storyline and have Reptile turn against Shao Kahn while both Zaterrans fight against the emperor's forces.

Shokans should have a war against Centaurs.

The Black Dragon Clan should face off against the Red Dragon Clan. (Only question is, which character/s will represent the Red Dragon in this upcoming MK game?)

Hey Pat. We haven't really spoke yet and this is like my 200th post. Just wanna say man.....im really diggin this website , and I want to be a part of it for a while. I've been part of other ones but just lost interest after a few weeks. You guys keep it fresh for us and it is really appreciated. Good job buddy! Keep it up.

It is totally what Johnny Cage is capable of doing. Plus, we don't know Stryker's intimate life so they might as well make him swing that way.

I would like to see reptile have a more involved story. He's such a badass character, i hope he gets a bigger role and breaks away from just being shang's servant. It looks like they're reviving the scorpion and subzero war which I can't wait to see and I'm hoping earth loses the first tournament this time around giving a different reason for outworld to invade it.
 
Liu Kang's betrayal:
In the first MK tournament Liu Kang is facing Goro. The Shokan is too much for Liu and is about to finish him. Kung Lao steps in and saves his life, mortally wounding Goro. Shang Tsung is defeated by Kung Lao. Liu is shamed by his devastating loss. He harbors a hidden hatred for Kung Lao, completely ignoring the fact that Kung saved his life, his mind is clouded by his broken pride. Throughout the 2nd tournament Liu fights along side Kung, but keeps his true feeling hidden. In Kahn's invasion Kung is ambushed by an extermination squad. He calls out to Liu but Liu just stands there and watches. Kung barely defeats the squad. He confronts Liu at to why he did not help his friend. With all of his emotions from the past exploding in his mind, Liu snaps and attacks Kung. Weakened from his battle, Kung is no match for Liu. Liu comes to his senses and realizes what he has done, he flees. He is shamed by Kitana, Raiden stripped him from his title as a defender of Earthrealm, and he no longer has any allies. Liu Kang enters the fourth tournament alone to redeem his name and honor. He is willing to die to be remembered as the hero he once was.

Let's get some ideas flowing guys.

Yeah I agree that the Red Dragon vs. Black Dragon dynamic should be explored more. I mean Kano and Kabal Working togethor would be awesome. The Black Dragon also have Tremor, another good reason to explore this. Also, it would be nice to see how Daegon first started the Red Dragon clan. He has been operating since before the first tournament in the dark. And if you guys remember Daegon was seen in earlier gameplay screen shots. Deagon could very well be in the new MK in my opinion.
 
Kabal could side with the Earthrealm warriors for good, thus avoiding his return in the Black Dragon clan.

In all honesty, if the MK team makes Ermac and Khameleon more important for the story, I will be forever pleased. They are both crying out for a bigger role.

It already looks like Scorpion and Sub-Zero's rivalry will be taken into full force with this game, since they changed the Sub-Zero brothers' story completely. I doubt theyre gonna change the overall story THAT much, but if they add on little tidbit changes here and there, I will be happy, like what they have done with Sub-Zero. They shouldnt make drastic changes that people are gonna question instantaneously, for example, Jax becomes the new MK Champion. Yeah I know hes a likable character, hes part of the forces of light and all, but it would be a little far fetched if they go as far as making him champ. So yeah, little changes in, drastic changes out.

Jax's decision
During the second tournament, Jax is sent to rescue Sonya and locate Kano. Jax locates where they are being held, in a large arena. Jax has no chance at stealth so he must barge his way in and fight. Jax jumps from the audience and frees Kano and Sonya. Jax tells Sonya to take Kano to Raiden and wait. Jax distracts Kintaro and defeats him. At Raiden's camp, Sonya and Kano arrive safely. But Shokan forces are closing in and Raiden can't fend them all off. Raiden has no choice but to leave Jax and take Sonya and Kano back to Earthrealm. Jax defeats Kahn but has no way back. With no idea where he is, he seeks shelter at an Edenian camp. For years he learns their ways and finds a wife. Meanwhile in Earthrealm Sonya and the new Special Forces recruit Kano are working on a teleportation device to get Jax back. Sonya and Kano find a breakthrough, when they are attacked by the Black Dragon Clan led by Kabal. Kano travels to Outworld just as the Edenian camp is being attacked by Tarkatan forces. Kano begs Jax to travel back with him to save Sonya. Jax is torn between saving his lifelong friend and partner, or his family.
 
I'm not sure what to expect form the story. I think somethings are going on with Liu Kang and his story. I think Raiden is going to prevent his death but favor someone else over Liu Kang to become champion. Causing a side of Liu we have never seen. I would like for characters like stryker and Rain have more to do with the overall story. Like stryker actually working with Shao Kahn to invade earth or Rain leading human scorpion to his death fight with sub-zero. I don't know something crazy but not to crazy where we are like WTF.
