There's a fatality like that on the mk pavillion webpage, with almost everything you just mentioned, right down to the head thing..... Wow! That's uncanny, no...... that deserves a more MK phrase.......

I just thought, how would the new MK fans know about the different storylines in the movie and the game? I could already see new Mortal Kombat fans spamming boards saying stuff about the movies storyline, thinking it was for the future of the game storyline.

I kinda think that already happened with MKA. At least, the casual MK players in my town thought that movie was plot-perfect. Don't worry, though, I made a point to slaughter them all with my hat of discipline (Vague Ed, Edd 'n Eddy reference)

Glad you liked it I can come up with better ones. I have never heard of the MK Pavilion. I am kind of new but kind of not.
 
I just thought... If the new movie overwrites the storyline of the old MK:A then does it really matter?

Halloween H2O I am told overwrites H:3 and H:4. Plus, the new superman movie is supposedly a overwrite of Superman 3 and 4 too.

Although I wouldn't know since I never watched any of the Halloween movies and I am not really a superman fan so don't care. Plus I like saw all the movies when I was just a little kid so I to hell can't remember them.
 
I don't know if I want to see a new MK 1 movie. I liked the one that already came out. Maybe if the same actors at least the ones who play Lui, Cage, Raiden, Kano, Kitana and Shung were doing it. As for MK:A, I hate that trash! I'm glad the next MK movie will be considered the true sequel and way better this time, I hope...

My GOD! did you just say you liked the one that already came out, being MK: Annihilation! Cause if you did, I must tell you that drugs are bad and you should not do them. :lol: :)
They're are very bad and you should not take then and watch bad movies on account that the drugs might make you think the moive you watch is good when it's not. Not saying you're actually on drugs, but if you are, and you were watching that movie while on them, then don't take them and watch annihlation again and see if you say the same thing. :lol:

I was in a rush, so I just went and put up the disregard message. It's too late to do anything about it now anyway.
 
The second wasn't that good, but if you want to hear me babble incoherently, i'll do that later. The cast of the original MK was wonderful and could not have been replaced by a better set of minor-know actors. Linden Ashby and Robin Shou were astonishing together and could not have done better funny-lines or fights. And who could forget Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, the ultimate Shang Tsung. He looked better than anything else Shang Tsung, even the games. He was astonishing. Christopher Lambert put his best work and support in that movie and could not be destroyed. Even Bridgette Wilson knocked us over when she delivered her wonderful talent as the witty, snappy Sonya Blade. Trevor Goddard, the wonderful aussie, played a wonderful bad guy as he knocked Sonya around and ended up getting his kneck snapped. No other actors can top this glorious cast and Paul Anderson could not have gone wrong with his work and talent. Long live them all.
 
Trevor Goddard's Kano made MK team remodel their Kano around him... Because he did such a good job at playing his verison of Kano it was unbelievable.

Sadly, Kano was one of his best character roles... One he'll never play again. :cry: .
