Hi all

Firstly, thanks for keeping us fans updated on the recent developments - appreciate your efforts! *thumbs up*

Now I had a question about the info known currently. In Kenshi's possessed variation, the Sento is broken and he's possessed by the souls of his ancestors - as Ray alluded to in the stream last week. Is this addressed in anyway in the storymode?

From what I've concluded so far following this thread, the storymode has kept my two favorites (Ermac and Kenshi) in the sidelines, as usual. Which frankly sucks.

Not that I'm aware. I don't think they bring it up. I haven't paid attention to Sento during cutscenes, but when you fight him in the Takeda chapter, he curiously has the Possessed variation. So it might be canon that Sento is broken, and it might be because of what Hsu Hao did in chapter 1 of the MKX comic. Anyway, you fight him again as Scorpion, I'm assuming, but I haven't seen the footage, but if he's on Possessed again, it might indicate that Sento is broken at this point in the timeline.

Kenshi has a very minor role. Mostly there for Takeda's character development. I'm just glad he's in the story this time. :)

I can't describe it in detail, since I read it yesterday and my memory is a bit fuzzy. So I'm not doing it enough justice in saying that it's basically Johnny beating someone's face into a pulp at warp speed.

He slams their face into the ground at a rapid pace. Stops for a second and pulls their head back to reveal that their face is gone, then slams them one more time before running off.

It's a decent fatality, but it has none of Johnny's personality in it.
 
Does anyone know where I can find a video of Ferra/Torr's second fatality?

Also, how does giving thanks work? I can give some of you thanks, but others I can't for some reason.
 
God, Mileena's second Fatality is fantastic. Sh** is so brutal. Whoever designed hers, Ermac's second (?), Ferra/Torr's second, Quan Chi's first and Cassie's bubble gum fatality needs to be forced into designing ALL fatalities.

I still think it's more of a savage animal behavior, it would have looked better on Reptile.

It's a great fatality nonetheless.

Now that we are at it, does anyone have a video/gif/description of Reptile's second fatality? Or a brutality?

Frankly, from a writing standpoint, I didn't expect NRS to screw up this bad. Why include in such caveats if they were to ignore them entirely? I'm also assuming how Kenshi managed to get Hanzo to overcome Scorpion is not addressed either..

This should have been 20 chapters instead of 12, given the huge time frame and the gap in recent developments. The comics clearly do not suffice. The writing team seems to have spread out events too thinly, and the plot consequently almost implodes in on itself.

Disappointed, really. I thought Kenshi would be a major actor in the MKX storymode :/

I think that'll be shown in Scorpion's chapter. Too big of a plot beat not to, especially with how the comic's avoided showing it.
 
Kenshi's fatality where he uses the sword like a chopping blade is awesome as hell

I sincerely hope so. But from what I gathered in the starting few pages, Scorpion battles Cage, Kenshi and Subzero (?) with the aim of getting to Quan Chi. This doesn't really seem to imply any reference to how Hanzo conquered Scorpion. But for the sake of us fans, I hope they dont leave that out..
