Is it POSSIBLE at all that the grey cyborg could be CyberSubby?
I think it's a possibility considering Smoke being a human in this game.
They never said that the grey machinery was just for Smoke, just that it was the Lin Kuei right?
 
I HIGHLY doubt NRS would just use a pallet swap for a completely new character. It was mentioned that Cyber Sub Zero is going to have his own moves etc. etc.
 
Well, he could still have his own moves and such. But, I just think it's a slight possibility. I doubt it's something like the Baraka related challenge because they didn't even change the color of Baraka's costume in that video.
I guess my curiosity is getting the best of me because I wanna know what he is going to look like.
 
It's not .... in the leaks file, there is a description LIN_KUEI_SOLDIER or something, what points for a generic prototype Lin Kuei cyborg, as challenge, more or less like those generic Tarkatan everyone saw in the Tower video.
 
I don't trust the leaks.
We don't even know for sure what the source on all these damn things are. Could be rumors simply turned into a hoax, or they could be legit.
With Mortal Kombat, I could even argue that the team put stuff in those leaks to make us think one thing while they did another.
 
It looks so much like the original Cyber Smoke though. I know he was pretty much a palley swap, but there is only so much you can do with Cyborgs.

Actually with a team of kick ass designers like NRS has, I'm sure they have plenty of ideas with Cyborgs.

Also about the Leaks from the Demo, Hector Sanchez mentioned: "It was an act of bad character." It's in one of the threads around here somewhere. There's still the chance that some of that leaked info could have been changed. We'll all have to wait and see.

*EDIT* Most likely Cyrax is just grayed out because of the challenge.
 
There is alot you can do with cyborgs you should check out deviantart.com for examples and I believe this just another mode like the zombie mode

I dunno. I just don't trust the leaks and hope that both Smoke and CyberZero make it in.

Thing is they havent done pallet swapping since MK4 even Sektor,Cyrax, Cyber Smoke looked different in MKDA,MKD,MKA-with MKA being the best example becuase it had all 3 in it

Every single leak so far has been right. I don't see the reason to doubt them anymore.
And the recent leaks are from a ton of different people decrypting the files on the demo. So unless about 100 people are lying then I think it's safe to say its true.

And about the gray cyborg. Why would the most secret character in the whole game(Cyber Sub-Zero) be challenge 10 in the Challenge Tower? They're just going to spoil the whole storyline for people just like that? Right off the bat?
Like people have been saying for quite some time now, odds are its a generic Lin Kuei cyborg. They used Baraka's image as the challenge for the Tarkatan fighters. Its safe to say that they'd do the same for the lin kuei cyborgs(just a gray cyrax instead of yellow).

Human Smoke is in.(Audio leak proved it to us months ago, demo leak confirms what we already knew).
Cyber Sub is in.
Sheeva is in(like we all knew from the leaks months ago from Lupinko)
Quan Chi is in(like we all knew from the audio leaks months ago)
 
I thought it was just an alternate costume? Not a different character entirely.
Wow. All of my hopes and dreams have been dashed, but thank you and I guess a mod can close this if they feel the need.
 
i dont think so. id say its too early in the tower for secret chars to be showing up and i think cyber sub is gonna be one of the last chars we see in this game
