Special Move Effectiveness "Character Tier List"

This IS NOT an official tier list for MK, it's just my opinion on the tier as far as special move effectiveness, I'm trying to make a final tier list but I need to make seperate lists first such as, this one, X-Ray effectiveness and damage, Speed, Kombo potential, Mix-ups, Ect...

Tell me what you think of my list on the Special move effectiveness list...

God Tier:
Reptile
Noob Saibot
Kung Lao
Kabal
Raiden

A Tier:
Kano
NightWolf
Scorpion
Smoke
Cyber Sub-Zero
Shang Tsung

B Tier:
Sub-Zero
Cyrax
Jade
Sektor
Skarlet
Sonya

C Tier:
Kitana

Quan Chi

Johnny Cage

I think is terrible, Noob and Kabal are far from being Top tiers, and Sub-Zero cant be a B tier, he is a top, and what a hell is johhny cage doing that low?. Is just my opinion, you asked for one.

Also separate tier lists for specials, combos, mixups and stuff doesnt sound good, tier list is just tier list, involves all the aspects of a character.
 
Well you obviously don't understand then...I never said Kabal was top tier, I said as far as special moves go he is top tier...in the final list he wouldnt be top tier...just like cage, hes low on this list cause he doesnt rely on his special moves as much as other things...you should of read the whole thing more thoroughly...

Noob is high as far as zoning and special moves, but is very low in kombo potential..just an example, noob would probably be in C tier in the final list
 
How are Sektor's special B tier, and Kabal's specials God tier?

Sektor has a great moveset, Kabal too but his run is yo punishable and Sektor's teleport is too great.

Kabal has a great projectile game, and his dash is amazing when used at the right time..sektor has a decent projectile game, and a good teleport..but in my opinion kabal beats him as far as special moves go

I know...i agree...I just told you I'm good with Quanchi...but hes low tier...what do you not understand about that? You should feel proud like i feel proud, that me and you both play well with a low tier character..

But Quan Chi has GDLK mix-up game
The highest damage potential; Yes I can land the 75% combo in a real match
A GREAT fireball that staggers with EX, and it is safe.

At least edit him in there as doo-do tier man, I'm hurtin right now...

I know he is of the likes of Sheeva, I'm not in denial lol.

Yeah but AGAIN like i said this is JUST a list based on special moves...i know Quan's kombo potential is rediculous, i land 12-16 kombos with him all the time online
 
Johnny's specials are ridiculously good. NO WAY is he "D tier." I do appreciate the unique thread idea, but I find it impossible to agree with based on personal experience.

The reason i put him so low was because he has no teleport, no good projectile game, and hes pretty much only good close range...id put cage in A or maybe B tier on a final overall tier list though

Quan Chi's Skull is one of the best moves in the game, you can ask any high level player its very safe like Kano's knives, I recently discovered this, his unblockable is faster than it use to be, EX trance can turn a whole match around by stopping breakers from happening. Now his teleport and skeletal buff are undefendable, that should at least put him above sheeva, or baraka.

Yeah i know i put him under luikang...his trance is very punishable, so is his teleport, and his ground bursts are slow..skeletal boosts take too long ect...i love Quan Chi though i must say, hes probably my number 2 main, reptile being my number 1

I had a guy mangle the shit out of me with her he mostly did this dashing low kick thing over and over to me I couldn't press a button to save my life!!

it was a cheap tactic of his but hell he did other things with her to I guess but that low kick he did I had no way of recovering from :P sheevas not my least favorite but she is my least used and shes not the worst either
