Yeah of course you could win with anyone, but someone has to be the lowest, and I say its Sheeva...lol...Shes the only character i never use

I never use Noob and i rated him 2 on the special move list...ive played and learned sheeva, imo shes terrible
 
maybe it was back, back, back, low punch that beat me senseless with sheeva and even put in the half health kode to make me look like a fool :D

Back Back Back Low Punch is onto something

He is right, we should never underestimate characters we do not understand. Most definitely, I hold that to heart. However, we have to accept their setbacks, Sheeva's special's have more than others. bblp, I'm able to fair fine with the likes of circus and dcp with Quan Chi, but that doesn't mean he is on par with Johnny Cage and Kano, I learned to accept that he is broken as NRS continue to find a solution for his character (His odd wake-up, unavoidable groundblast strings ect.)

Good list, I see lots of flaws with my list, but you have the biggest flaw of all, a flaw that sickens me, you forgot the greatest character in mortal kombat, reptile....shame on you lol...where would you say reptile goes? I say atleast A tier

Also i dont agree with ermac at god tier, hes more of a B..and subby would be god tier just cause hes such an amazing defensive cheap ****ing character

JK, not much I can say about Reptile. Hes got it all
He has juggle potential with both acid balls and ex hand, ex acid spit can stop jump ins, the normal version is almost spammable.
 
liu kang have fast dragon fireball and his recovery time is one of the fastest in the game..you just can't win a projectile war with him...however, most liu kang player online only want to get close and do his big juggle and have forgotten how to actually play liu kang besides the juggle :)

THIS. I thought Sheeva was the worst character in the game, never used her and never had any interest in her. I was challenged by someone on XBOX Live yesterday/day before, they handed me Kitana's ass every time with Sheeva. It would have helped a bit more if I had some knowledge of her combos etc. but I'm not ashamed to admit that Sheeva literally butt raped me and didn't give me any candy :\
 
Sheeva is very good ..... was fooling around with her in Training Mode, for fun, and, she is a beast ...... lots of special moves, crazy combos and a nice X-Ray ..... too bad that , due the amount of newbies and scrubs online that wanna easy wins, sticking with easy-going characters and spammable characters, we don't see lots of Sheeva players, because, she is a tecnhical character fighter for brainy players, that want to learn a hard character, but, once dominated, can put a hell of fight.
 
Oh c'mon. Obviously Sheeva is not a bad character, there are no "bad" characters in MK9. The problem with Sheeva is that she's got a pretty hard time in most match-ups in the game. Sheeva players have to suffer everytime. Because Sheeva doesn't really have many tools to overcome her faults (and they are really a lot) that's exactly why she's on the lowest tiers in the game, for me of course.
 
People this is not a tier list but a rankings list for overall best specials. In that respect I mostly agree. Tho I think subs should be higher for iceclone alone.

Well Subby's Ice ball is slow, and does very little damage but you do get a free combo of your choice when it lands...but still hes lacking in the projectile area, he has no teleport, and he has only one move thats damaging, the slide...his ice clone is good when used right, and his ice puddle is one of the most useless moves in the game unless you use the EX...overall, subzero lacks variety in his specials but the 3 moves he does have make one of the best defensive move sets in the game...it was really hard to put him in the list cause offensively, his specials arent very good...so i put him in B

Yes LuiKang is a projectile guy, but hes lacking in almost everything else as far as Specials go...on the overall tier list id prob still put him in C because all he has is speed, good mixup, and projectile..you have to work still for your wins with Lui Kang
 
I love Sheeva's potential, I just can't use her well enough. Her combos are very slow to start up, but if you connect on one it's a thing of beauty.

Thats where most people make mistakes with her.
Sheeva is not a combo oriented character.

She mostly relies on heavy hits.
Going for combos only when the opponent makes a mistake.


My Sheeva's BnB is about 12 hits.
Buts its really only 5, the extra 7 come from the grab n punch.
