sonya vs sub-zero

Yea it's a tough matchup because Sonya can't scare Sub Zero with DiveKicks/Jump Ins because of the Ice Clone. But besides that point it's actually not too bad.
Remember that EX Cartwheel has invincibility on it so it could actually attack through Ice Clones AND start a juggle afterward. Also, if you predict for him to throw out alot of Ice Clones, zoning him out with rings is always a smart idea. Rings are actually a really good projectile with very little recovery time so you dont have to worry about Ice Blasts too much if you're careful. You'll force him to want to Slide against you, and if he starts Sliding you could bait him into doing one and punish with a juggle starter.
Have alot of patience and go with a couple of D4s to keep him honest. If you start discouraging him enough for him to stop Ice Cloning you could start looking for opportunities to get some jump ins or dive kicks, but just be very careful about it. If you can, learn Sonya's high dmg Dive Kick combo too. Doing 39% for landing a dive kick on a Sub Player for doing something besides Ice Cloning is a strong punish. Try not to use her Arc Kick too much because it really is for the most part ineffective vs Sub Zero too.
I'm saying all this but remember not to give the Sub player too much momentum. If he controls the pace of the battle he will back you up into a corner and you will be in a terrible situation. I'd say its Sub's favor but not be too much if you stay safe/unpredictable from midrange and punish slide attempts.
