Yeah, hopefully it's a work in progress, but I'm not losing my mind over it, like people were with Mk9 and Injustice.

MKX female face models (and general models) are a vast improvement over the past games.

I understand your point, but, I can see improvements... and in that crazy pose.... (I don´t remember a good open mouth from NRS modellers)
 
Don't forget there's three women announced for MKX. Cassie, D'Vorha, and Ferra. And no she is not a child as Boon has even corrected himself from little girl to little lady.

Agreed.
It's hard to judge by an image where she has her mouth open and the awkward position of her body.
I want to see if they improved her neck too.
 
My only complaint, and I'm sure I'm not alone here, if any female that comes into this game next that has long hair... they better make it in a way where it's not a distraction like how Kitana's was.

As an animator myself, I can surely tell you that animating hair is the hardest thing to do on a human character for those who don't know. It's hard. And seeing Kitana's hair flow the way it did was just annoying, basically the single reason I didn't play as her until her Mortal Kombat 3 costume came out so I didn't have to look at that.

I couldn't care less how every other female looks in this game, as long as their hair isn't a bothersome, I'll be content. So far we've got two females with short hair and one that's bald...
 
except her hair was not animated, it was physics driven secondary motion

as far as hair goes, they're nailing it
either have yellow turds hanging around or just make everyone bald like dvorah

Please don't watch or learn anything from this, NRS.
The costumes for the females in MKX are just fine, and we don't need slutty DOA type costumes for MKX, especially not for Cassie Cage who is a military woman.
For face and hair, I'd prefer that they use the Maya example from KI.
IMO, I don't see what the big deal is with Cassie's face.
Her giraffe neck was bugging me more than anything, truth be told.
 
The slutty costumes in MK have already gone too far! When even the most wholesome women of MK (Sonya and Kitana, to be more specific) start getting these slutty costumes, you KNOW it's gone too far!

Look at those FEMALE models, their faces, hair... And then look at the Zatanna, Cassie, Kitana, Sonya, Killer Frost... basically every Injustice and MK9 female... It will make you vomit!

Fixed.

I agree with you on the other faces that you mentioned, but I still fail to see the issue with Cassie's face.
MKX, so far, has given us a VAST improvement on the female faces that have been shown in MKX (Cassie & D'Vorah).
Again, the only issue that I saw with Cassie was her elongated neck, but her face seemed fine, to me.
