Good point. Plus Raiden could just find him before Damashi does and explain everything.

Deception's Konquest mode was pretty fun. Armageddon's made me bash my head against the wall.
 
Ugh, I've completed Deception's Konquest 6 times. Still love it though. Those mother ****ers know how to make a good adventure mode.
 
Shujinko is different to the others fighters, because is a oldman human like (well, except shang tsung mk1)
Maybe with extreme make-over.

Before Liu's vignette was released, I wanted them to make him be Liu's master. But them, they really decided to leave Bo' Rai Cho, the drunken big fat farter guy who just can't be taken seriously.

It would have been interesting to see how Shujinko would have fared in the tournament if Damashi didn't prevent him from entering. As a matter of fact, now that I think about it, isn't Shujinko one of the strongest, if not the strongest, characters in MK? The power to copy other people's combat ability and powers should make him one of the strongest imo, unless his age has weakened him, and I kinda find that hard to believe.
 
I want Shujinko to be like the good Shang Tsung, with the ability to copy warrior's abilities.
He could hold-down the Forces of Light clubhouse when Raiden is out doing his god-thang.

Do you mean something like Raiden's Champion? Or maybe something like Liu Kang stays the Grand Champion of MK but Shujinko becomes the Protector of Earthrealm after Raiden ascended to Elder God status?
 
I think he'll be back; maybe his role won't be as pivotal in the series ( I hope it is though); you see how much hate Stryker got yet he's still in MK9 :). Maybe they'll reboot Shujinko as well. I personally hope he's back in the story.
 
I'm telling y'all, he should be in MK9 as a pivotal character. Just think about it! Raiden wants to prevent Armageddon. If he stops Shujinko and has him enter Shang Tsung's tournament, the chance to prove Damashi as a fake would be given. Therefor, Shujinko wouldn't resurrect Onaga, therefor a huge portion of the future struggle is evaded!

My only problem with Shujinko...his special moves. =/
 
His special moves were the only reason I liked Shujinko. He was the only character that reminded me of Reptile from MK1 because he could use the Freeze and Spear.
