Shujinko for MK 10

i would like him but only if he was a good old 100% cheesy 1970's kung fu end boss fight scene type character. have his own moves and what not. there are a ton of old movies from which to draw inspiration from.

Shujinko could be pretty cool with some nice work put into him. I'd very much like for him to be more of a kung fu master fighter. Making him more of a defensive combo-based punisher could be pretty cool to. He could have a strong counter/parry move as well as a number of quick combos he can use to strike back quickly on whiffs or dangerous moves. This would keep in-line with the monk philosophies of the Shaolin. They fight when they must, but not for the sake of violence--more defensively.

If they decide to go the route of giving him moves he learned from other characters they should go about it in a different way. He learns a slide move from Sub-Zero instead of a freeze move that really belongs more to a cryomancer. He could learn a variation of Scorpion's flip kick (not a special for Scorpion in this game, but it ends his Doom Blade combo I believe). More like learning similar styles to other characters rather thank just straight janking their headline moves.

i was thinking more along the lines of maybe giving him new moves alltogether. like iron palm or something, u know make it a totally different experience.

one of his specials should be bruce lee's one inch punch
but when shujinko uses it, the other character flies across the screen, have to do it VERY close range, but does a chunk of damage

If Shujinko does not make it as one of the main heroes of MK10, Ill be really depressed. He has got a lot of potential and also going by the timeline, he will be in his middle age form with armor during the events of MK4, which could be his primary and Old shujinko as his alt.

With majority of the good guys dead, he could fit in quite well into the story.
