So a couple days ago, I got really pissed at the crappy lag matches I was having recently... and the people online were just pissing me off. So I quit for a couple days. I logged in today ready to play online and I find this room of people. Well it was a close match and I didn't realize until the end that he was just using the same combo/special moves. When I lost, he started T-bagging me. So respect-wise I gave him a 0. I mean how can you respect that? Well he gets out of his party and calls me a p***y b***h and proceeds to say how much I suck at this game. Next time I fought him I won. What does the next person do when they win a really laggy match? The same thing. It just amazes me how much of a sh*tty community MK9 has right now. My blood-pressure is cookoo right now >.<

I don't understand why people care so much about this sort of thing. I got 0's when I played a good game, I got spammed, I couldn't care less. It's just a game.....:/
 
I see your point Jade. But it really angers everyone, including me. For me, I have to wait a long time to get a match. Have the match become really laggy or I get spammed. It sucks. Once I win, 0's. I mean come on!
 
Fighting games are competitive in nature, which sometimes brings out the ugly side of human nature. It's natural to feel frustrated when you lose, but sometimes people let it out the wrong way. This extends far beyond video games, look how crazy some people can be at sporting events.
 
what i would like to see is the host set a cap like 4 players max to a room and everyone's connections showing always so you can boot off the bad connections/laggers

It's funny because that is the same response HE gave me. If it's only a game, why t-bag in the first place? That's poor sportsmanship.

It's not the fact that it's a game and you're taking it too seriously, it's a competitive game. Just realize stupid and angry people are everywhere and shrug them off.
 
I don't care if I get 0's. Bitter people rate me low all the time. I have fun winning, and enjoying a game I've loved for 20 years. All the other stuff like scores and such is moot.
 
lol. TRMK is a community. Everyone Who Has An Xbox Or PS3 With Mortal Kombat is not. You will find this everywhere. Just play with people from here, an actual community of people who don't complain when beat and genuinely play for fun.

Judging from how you are acting in this thread, I think the only problem is you....you need to learn to chill out....you get too upset over things that don't really matter.

Play the game to have fun. Don't worry about faceless, immature people. They exist everywhere, not just in the MK community.

You can't enjoy a game when everyone quits, rage quits, sh*t talks, and does immature things. I find it to be the worst in the MK community, and I play Halo:Reach a lot lol

At least you're able to play matches. Outside of playing with people on my friends list (Which is somehow laggy as all hell despite most of them living in the same city as me), I still haven't played a game with anybody else online because it either keeps disconnecting me, or it takes too long to find someone to play. One time I literally waited for 10 minutes and it still never connected to anybody.

Oh trust me, I have that problem too. It seem to disappear the time I took a break from this game. Every KOTH I would join would kick me out, and 1v1 matches would end in the being no longer available
 
People who say ugly and do mean things are tryin to make themselves feel better by getting under your skin. Just shrug it off and move on to the next match. It pisses them off even more when they cant get a rise out of you. But theres plenty of friendly players too who will show you respect whether win or lose.

^This, need some thick skin so you don't get pissed.

Next time someone sends you hate mail or whatever, just laugh at it(even if it's forced). Eventually you'll just see it as all silly, and that the person sending it is a waste of time.

Don't let people anger you, that's their intention. You're just feeding them if you fall for it.

If you really want back at them. the best way to do it is act like you don't even care and it'll piss them off even more that their anger is not reaching you.
