I'd like to know how many of you around here play this game, the original came out in 2001(I think) and is my favorite series along with mortal kombat and fallout.
The new one just came out, Serious Sam 3: BFE, and its amazing, takes you back to the days when shooters were about having fun.
So to my Serious Sam fans, which game is your favorite?

Defiantly Serious Sam 2, the one with dinosaurs, man that was great. :) The HD Remakes are okay.

Serious Sam is fun, but I can't play it for more than an hour.
It gets really stale imo.
 
the first one is definitely my favorite. i even had it for gba, which was pretty faithful to the original source material. ss3 looks insane though! damn, i didn't want that trailer to end!
 
SS3 is $40 on steam, and the Classic+HD remakes are $10.00. Yesterday they were at like 3 dollars because of black friday. And the game isn't on console yet.

I only remember playing it with my friend years back on his Xbox.
I have the HD Second Encounter on my 360.




So you have played it right?
I can't really play SS for too long without getting bored.
Does this game do anything to mix things up?
 
It feels a lot more varied this time around and those moments where it starts feeling tedious are rare, unless playing on tourist or easy. The first couple of levels are really easy going and different from previous games, then its starts picking up really fast going to the more classic serious sam style
