Secret character in story mode?

So i was playing story mode when i see this grey ninja. It wasnt smoke because i saw him in the scene, and it wasnt noob either. He looked like the retro scorpion so i wonder has anyone else noticed him?

I think he means the one that johnny says "Ill take you out" is that one or not, is just a generic ninja nothing else.
 
I know which scene your talking about.
The courtyard scene with Scorpion right?
That grey ninja was probably Chamelon and the female grey ninja was Khamelon.
The Lady in Red also made a cameo in story mode in that same scene.

EDIT: You can see both Chamelon and Khamelon really good at 3:58

They're just re-using completed models with different skins so that they don't have to do whole models again and save time. Wouldn't put much thought into them. But it's nice to see that both Classic male & female ninjas are on the disc.

Thats right, if you see the unknown Lin Kuei cyborgs that appear in Story Mode are just grey versions of Cyrax and Sektor models.

Yeah! this scene exactly. Thanks for clearing this up.
Its a little confusing having smoke and this ninja (chameleon) in the same game. I thought they were the same character lol.
 
This is def off topic but I went to Gamestop yesterday to get my reserved copy of MK and when I got home I noticed that I didn't get the Classic scorpion/Fatality code on my receipt WTF!
 
It is a nobody... There wer even more than 1 gray ninja and a black one + 1000 of gray cyrax.

Just random models
