I actually remember this glitch, I was able to do it on the genesis.

If you don't mind, I'd like to post a glitch that has happened to me. While playing a Human Smoke on MKT, I went for his Tele-Death fatality on the edge of a stage. Smoke just flew right past the guy, missing him entirely, but the game registered it as a fatality. I tried it on other stages in the same spot, and it continues to do that. Weird, ain't it?
