OTOH, the GFaqs roster leak has been proven correct, because Liu Kang gets a skin and no other surprise characters get one.

So do you think it was a leak or a lucky guess?

Who knows? There's no reason it couldn't have been a leak. No reason it couldn't have been a guess either, the only ambitious thing in the roster was placing Kung Jin as the archer. I'd love some closure, but I don't think we'll get it. :(
 
Jay williams, the guy i posted about, on a youtube comment predicted all the DLC..Said bigger roster than 24.....2 wks ago..There still hope for bigger roster..Mayb he got lucky lol..Buut I am going to take his word for bigger roster..

Not to mention the guy posted DLC on twitter, and mentioned Tremor nowhere. It's nice that this garbage can driven out to the dump now.

It's not gonna happen. People need to stop already. All these DLC costumes and none for any characters not on the rumored list? Yeah, no. We're getting the 24 + Goro + DLC. End of story.

Hey you very well could be right..But the new chars were not listed on there with costumes..Possible chance of new chars, who knows..I got Tremor so I am happy..Hope other ppl get there chars..But Ima roll with Jay Williams, the youtube comment guy, even if he is bsing lol..

24 + Goro is what we have. Accept it.
 
The roster is fine by me as long if the gameplay is good and the story is well written. Mortal Kombat is not like the DBZ games where you can just throw 100+ characters on the roster.
 
This leak was a logical guess. Any of us could do something similar by now with all the info we have and things that are obvious. You just need time in your hands.

"I know someone who works for (x)!" is your clue to when something smells. As for the roster, oh well. At least Tanya got a chance as DLC.
 
Im fine with what we have.

My list of must plays is already big enough:

Kotal
Sub Zero
Raiden
Ferra Torr
Takeda
Kung Jin
Erron Black
Goro
Shinok
Quan Chi
Scorpion
Tremor
Predator
Jason

That is enough characters for me to be content.
 
I rather have a fair number of a characters rather than an abundance of characters that feel like they were just thrown into the game. The amount of characters that we have now is plenty.

If you're upset at that, I don't know what to really tell you.
 
Like asears said. Its more than enough interesting people for you to have at least 3 characters you can master. Its also some interesting newbies. Enough of my favs are in so no fujin, kai, havik, hotaru and other 3d era people i wanted is ok. I have:
Kotal
Raiden
Kung lao
Liu kang
Takeda
Kung jin
Sub-zero
Scorpion
Shinnok
Erron Black
Those are my mains and its others i will use alot like johnny, jax, reptile, goro, kenshi, tremor, and predator. No need to complain i have plenty of options.

That's the spirit. I'm drowning in options as well. Too many characters that look utterly fantastic. Definitely gonna have a character crisis, gonna have to make some tough choices.

And I'm sure Fujin will be DLC.
 
It's already a given the costumes per character will lean towards injustice. Sonya, Johnny, ....,kitana all have at least 5 to 10 different costumes that can be used. I am fine with some classics, but we don't need a mk9 classic dlc again. I think they are in the right direction with samurai style packs, its for fun who cares if it doesn't go with game. Stretch out and have fun making costumes for characters, every other fighting game does.

That doesn't prove anything. He was right about klassic outfits, doesn't matter if they are already in or DLC.
This is another confirmation about authenticity.

Pray tell, when is Johnny Cage's Klassic outfit getting announced? Where's Jax's Carl Weathers and Johnny's Commando? Where's Mileena/Ermac/Reptile's horror pack?
