i just noticed throughout reptiles devolution, he loses 2 fingers on each hand in mk4, and then gains them again on mkda. bizzare. or midway's famous attention to detail

Yeah, probably that. I doubt it was done with any real meaning, most likely just the laziness of the MK team.
 
Wow you really pay attention to Reptiles hand...and its probably because Midway just don't care about him
 
maybe they are just trying to be creative, they could also simply be toying around with "reptile prototypes" so when a game with superb graphics was released, they could have a cool looking reptile. .... :? i dont know, lol.
 
Well if no one cared then the thread wouldn't be created.

As regarding the subject, Midway was probably going to do this as almost too much of a devolution? They probably decided that it would lose players, so they gave him back the additional fingers.

Just a theory.
 
when creatators resort to drawing 4 fingers on a character its usually to get round a difficutly with draw the hand of that character. Done many, many, many times in comics and chartoons...

... But I would say in this case it was proprly laziness.

But yeah... Who cares really. Though you must wonder how its taken you this long to spot it... :shock:
 
i care... in DA he looked kinda like my cat would if i shaved his ass and taught him to walk backwards.
 
I thing in the next game he is going to be the ninja cause on sindels ending look carefully at rep. ,he looks like he's in ninja outfit,or not?but ready.
