Reptile Thread - "Argh!"

Hey guys, finally playing MK again after years of not. Transitioning from MKII to MK9, ive been practicing some of reptiles combos, and i stuck on where to go with one ive been playing with, could something be added to this?...

Jump in 1,2,2,1, fast forceball, njp, slow forceball, 3,2,1.

What could i cut out to end up prolonging this? I was trying to just for 3,2 after slow forceball and try something else, but nothing seems to keep it going. Any input would be appreciated.

Ayight....here's my brad and butters

122 fastball njp 32 slowball 321 then end with any of these.....

Slide
Elbow dash jump in
Double elbow dash then pressure or throw
Triple dash
Or end in ball...if you do slow first in the combo instead you can finish with a slow for pressure. I.e. you can't do two of the same ball in succession.

This is his best combo off his best string but is the hardest.

321 elbow dash njp slow ball 32 fast ball 321 and finish with any of the above

Corner
321 elbow dash njp 4 fastball 321 slowball 321 then slide or invisibility for hidden pressure

He has many more situational combos but those are the most important ones off the bat.

Remember 321 is his best string. Learn that combo first. Use that string for pressure and end block strings with acid hand to make them safe.

A tip for getting the NJP after the elbow dash.... slide from 1 to 2 as you jump. Pressing both buttons makes it much easier.

There is no best tag partner for any character I'd say, it depends on how you want to combo and how you play. Personally I like playing as Reptile and Cyrax. I like playing as Cyrax and putting out Reptile's force balls then a bomb, it almost always forces them into a trap.

What fo you mean by slideing from 1 to 2 I'm a bit comfused on the dash jump combo I have tryed and can't land it is there any tips you can give me and do you think rain would go well with reptile

^^^ right after you do the dash inputs hold up then " press x then immediately slide your finger to y" x>>y then continue your combo

Meaning slide thumb from 1-2 or square to triangle or x to y. Idea being you get two opportunities to press njp at the correct time.
