Red Bull Stratos - 120,000 ft skydive LIVE.

Yeah, he cancelled his initial run at it a few days ago because of gusty winds.

Gonna be cool to watch =)

I've been waiting for it for a while, yeah. :) It was a shame they had to postpone until today, but it's a good date, 65th anniversary of the sound barrier being broken.

43,000 ft and counting...

Well, that's why I have Highway to the Danger Zone going on through Spotify while I watch this... My highest salute to him, willing him godspeed.

That was awesome.

When he started to tumble, wow, but then he gained control again.

When they showed the earth below his feet before he was about to jump, I barfed inside.

Simply amazing. :D What a feat!

This one's for you, Felix! You've earned it! You and Red Bull Stratos!!

I almost teared up when he gave that salute before his jump. Such an amazing thing to watch.

I felt nervous as hell when he was about to jump. That altitude was, woo.

Congrats on this guy doing something truly amazing today

Hilarious GIF already.

I think it is now confirmed that he was indeed faster than the speed of sound.

Amazing feat.

By the way, what is with people commenting on news articles or Facebook with comments like, 'lol cool n all, but who took da foto, huh?'. No, jack-ass, they sent this guy up 24 miles in an aluminum and fiberglass capsule with a ton of equipment, hoisted by probably the world's most expensive (and certainly largest) helium balloon, and didn't include remote cameras.
