Rebuilding Jarek

Never knew you were Middle Eastern :)
Thats an awesome coincidence.

And I do love that music, its so peaceful.
It sits right up there with the one for Shujinko's Rebuilding.

Yup, it really set the scene. I think I like Jarek the Koward better. It makes way more sense.

Coward makes more sense in terms of his character (what little we know about it, anyway) but I like them both equally.

I can see that now.

Surprised, yet satisfied.

Like a what?

I kind of like it as a combination of both. Jarek the coward, because it is true to his original concept and Jarek the hero, because the hands make him unique. Even since I thought of that idea I pictured him walking through the desert with his left hand (demon hand) in wraps to hide it and having a machete/scimtar on his back.

I also pictured him with a scimitar!

I like Hero more because it shows sympathy/emotion.
Something that is almost nonexistent in Mortal Kombat.
Only time I can think of it is Scorpion's chapter in MK9.

But I do also like your idea Fly.

I swear to God if either of these storylines show up in MK10, b,b,b,lp had better get some kind of credit...

The story ended kind of abrupt, but then again the great b,b,b,lp shows us underlings how to make lemonade from lemons :)

I didn't have a lot of patience.
My computer shut down while I was writing it the first time, so I was trying to just get it out the second time.

But it most likely would have ended so abrupt anyway ;)

Should have at least one more path, which is the Bloodthirsty Path. I can Jarek as a loose cannon to friend and foe alike.

I want Jarek to have emotion.
Not just a freak-weirdo like in his Armageddon ending.

But if you can come up with something like that, I'd be more than interested to see it :)

I can, but I'm still thinking about how should I start on the Dragon King's Rebirth, for Flying Jinko. I'll do that in the future.

"going somewhere Jarek?!"
nope, he stays dead and never comes back to MK

but if they ever wanted to bring him back, they should make him a zombie like they did Lui kang, but he would be the punching bag joke character that everyone makes fun of, yet still has a role in the plot. That's my idea

turning a character into a zombie doesnt have to be a bad idea. It was bad with Liu Kang, but maybe it could work with someone not very famous.
I don't know man, if you consider the MK universe, zombies are more or less generic beings and turning people to zombies won't really make them unique. I say, improvise Mavado's use of his grappling claws, provide him damaging and evading special moves based on it and you got a really unique and badass character.:)

I would love to see somebody give Mavado a second chance.

I hate the guy, but just out of curiosity I want to see it :)
