I've been listening to a lot of Rammstein lately and I just felt like talking about them.

Ever since I heard "Du Hast" a few years back I was hooked and have owned every studio album since. Their music is just so powerful. I REALLY recommend them if you like heavy rock. I don't like to compare bands, but in my opinion they have elements of NIN, Static-X, and Ministry to name a few.

I think they're one of those bands you would either love or hate. I know some people who are turned off by their lyrics, either because they sound too creepy or they just don't want to listen to lyrics they don't understand, because they do sing in German. I love them though because of how their music just sounds to me. It's soo powerful, and it's music you have to play LOUD. And if you really want to know what they are saying there are plenty of fan sites with translated lyics of all their albums ( http://herzeleid.com/ , and just go to the lyrics section)

Their fourth studio album (Reise, Reise) is already out in Europe and will be out sometime in November in the U.S. I already downloaded it and I feel it's amazing. I'll still buy the album when it's released here though, this is a band I wanna support.

If you're a fand of hard rock and you haven't heard much of their stuff, give them a listen.

I know there are some Rammstein fans out there (Prophet, the_sim, Xer0FX, StonedSour, and undertaker3x7). You know what I'm talking about!

Yep, I'm a big Rammstein fan. Always enjoyed the sort of fusion of industrial and electronica, and Rammstein pull it off perfectly.

Ahh... I've been waiting to get a new CD from them in a long time. Mutter is still a great CD. I can't wait until (Reise, Reise)? Is out in the USA.

If you like "Mutter" then you'll love "Reise, Reise" They're still heavy as hell, plus it has a more operatic feel to it. I remember the band a while back said they wanted an operatic sound and by jove! They've done it.

Rammstein's not bad. I like a few of their songs, but they can get a little too repetetive for me.

Personally, I think as far as "industrial metal" goes, Fear Factory owns all.

I've been a Rammstein fan for a long time, and like you, r0z, I got into Rammstein when I first heard "Du Hast". Though, my favorite song of theirs has got to be "Freuer Frei". I really love how it's just so easy to get into their music.

Du HAst rules...i heard that sng on CKY2k, and i didnt know who it was by, and when i got the song, i listened to it like 8 times

Rammstein's new album Reise, Reise arrives here on Nov. 16th. Expect to see them promote the album and, if we're lucky, have some interviews on some music programs. Probably not on mainstream MTV but maybe on Headbanger's ball on MTV2 or also maybe on the Fuse network.

They have two new videos out now: Mein Teil and Amerika (that last one actually has an English chorus, it's great) The videos are amazing as usual for them and you can find them on the usual file sharing services.

Go check 'em out!!!

Yes, Mutter was a much better album than their first two were... So the 16th, huh... cool!

Rammstein is my second favorite band, behind Metallica, and I've been listening to them for many years now, and although Mutter is an awesome album, I gotta say Sehnsucht is their best album thus far. Not cuz of Du Hast, although its a great song, not even close to my favorite. My favorite songs by them is Spiel Mit Mir and Engel, and my favorite song on Mutter is Ich Will, I also like their version of the song Stripped. But theyre best live, I saw them in I think 2002, maybe 2001 when they were touring with Staind, badass show.

Yeah! Stripped is a great cover of the Depeche Mode song.

I still haven't seen them live. None of my friends were interested in them so I had no one to go with.

My girlfriend however is from Germany and I'm going there a month after Christmas. Maybe they'll be touring then, but I'lll doubt it. She'd go with me, she knows what they're saying haha

i dont think i was a Metallica fan in 87, seeing as how I was only 6, but the black album is the first Metallica I ever heard so I started listening to em in about 91, and even though I listened mainly to rap back then, I was always addicted to Metallica and Nirvana. The black album is my favorite, but my favorite song is either For Whom the Bell Tolls or One. "Take a look to the sky just before you die, It's the last time he will" is prolly my favorite line from any song.

i never liked metallica, and i dont think i will, tey are too soft

Metallica is soft?? are you on crack?? granted their latest album sucks, but their old shit wasnt soft, although they did have a couple softer songs(ie Fade To Black) but it is still a badass song

Skinny Puppy, Rammstein, Mogwai, andddd... OhGr, Own everyone else. No offense to all you Ozzy fans, but I hate Ozzy! I always hated him. His old self attempting to sing? God, give him a damn cane. If I see another picture of his wrinkly face with the make-up, I swear I'll through a javelin through the computer screen

rammstein is badass (links 2 3 4). and i've heard some crazy shit about their live shows

Dude, I've seen them live and crazy doesn't quite sum it up. They set themselves and the mic stands on fire. And at one point one of the members (can't recall which) came to the front of the stage and got on all fours on top of a box they had there. After he was on the box the singer ripped the ass of his pants off and proceeded to pull out a fake cock through the zipper of his pants and pretended to pound away at him. A few minutes after that the cock began to spray some sort of liquid which he then shot on the audience.
