Lol I was thinking about Shazam's and Black Atoms' super the whole time I watched it. I think it fits Raiden's persona (he is the god of thunder after all)nicely and is way better than his old xray.
 
Yea sub-zero's xray is too short and feels more like a quick close up like that tree branch attack.

And raiden's looks pretty damn cool this time.
 
I think it's funny how people are saying they don't like how over-the-top it is. It's mortal kombat; the whole over-the-top thing is why the game is so popular. And besides, this is an improvement to MK9's X-rays.

I guess you really can't please everyone.
 
LOL @ People whining "it looks too much like Injusticeee, I dont likee eet". For fcuk sake - it's Raiden, a freaking THUNDER GOD. What do you expect? Simple bone crush or what?

This is how God's x-ray should look like - Godlike. LOVE it and can't wait to combine it into one huge combo. I can already imagine how sick it will look like.

When other characters start getting this treatment, then we really have a problem...
 
I love it... Raiden's old one was boring - it was like kind of a mix from x-ray scenes put together...

I also like Sub-Zero's x-ray. Ok it's short and it starts like his one in MK9 but the idea is great! ripping someones guts out, freezing them to an ice pick and ramming it into someones eye - that's awesome! I would say beside Raiden, Sub-Zero's one ist the most innovative one...

Agreed, Swift X-rays can be just as good if not more impactful. Sub-Zero's is sick!
