Question about Shujinko. I am really confused with him.

Since Deception was released I was wondering about Shunjinko's origin. So I tried to play Koquest, but I am unable to finish it. Now my question is why did Shujinko got old when he is the next generation Liu Kang, which means he's younger than Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Johnny Cage, etc. . How come he's old in the game?

I'll be knowing this if I finished konquest, but I didn't cause my PS2 broke last 2005.
 
Puh... A lot of reasons. If memory serves me well, he spend years, crossing all the known realms in the MK universe, trying to find the Kamidogu amulets for an Elder God called Damashi.
During his travels, he trained for years, sat in prison for years, stepped into some magic pool that made him age rapidly, the list goes on. That's how he ended up as old as he is.
 
Yep, IIRC:

1. Young Jinko transitions to Adult Jinko via training with Bo' Rai Cho.
2. Adult Jinko transitions to Older Jinko via Magic Pool in ChaosRealm.
3. Older Jinko transitions to Oldest Jinko via Getting Captured and sent to Seido Prison.

Story of my life too.

ahhh! So he stepped into "Pool Age Accelerator-Inator?" and that made him old? Thanks..
