PS4 Character Usage Updates

I never said that I want Mileena to be in the next game, though.
I just said that I think that she'll be in because people will cry for her to be in much like Kitana, Kung Lao, and Liu Kang.
I think that D'Vorah can also take her spot, and I'm not disagreeing with you. :-)

As for Sub-Zero and Scorpion, I disagree.
I don't see why they need new arch enemies.
Let them have some cameo parts, but I hope MK11's story focuses less on them and more on the other characters.
As for Noob Saibot, I want to see him in a position where he's taking Liu Kang and Kitana's NetherRealm throne, perhaps with the help of Havik or with the help of the ChaosRealm army, much like his MK9 ending.

No, I got you. What I should of said was, I disagree with the idea of her returning again after being the tits of MK for so long :lol:

As far as Sub-Zero/Scorpion/Noob-Saibot, I feel like its wasted potential to have Kuai Liang and Bi-Han have nothing to do with each other. Despite being a notoriously bad MK game, in Armageddon, Noob-Saibot seemed to be at war with his brother and his faction. That was intriguing to me. I want to see more of that.

Now, I still agree with you about Sub-Zero and Scorpion not getting in the way of other character's much needed development. However, being reduced to a cameo in a game that they are the superstars in, is a little.. Well, not right in my opinion. It was balanced well in MKX, though a little more wouldn't of hurt. With the story mode jumping around in time, not fighting Sektor as Sub-Zero in the story was a waste in my opinion. (I know the comic covered that but that doesn't change how I feel).

But anyways, whether it's new enemies, becoming more powerful or whatever it is, the two mascots should have something fun and exciting going on with them rather than just being there like characters such as Baraka, Kano, Reptile.

I personally would love to see them going on separate paths with new rivalries.
 
Those usage list means nothing. As i remember, Quan Chi and Kano were in very low positions on MK9 usage list on themortalkombat website, yet, both returned. I'm trying to access it via those webarchive sites, but no sucess. It would be cool if someone could recover it.

I'm also hoping for Jax, Johnny Cage, Kenshi and Sonya are gone for next game. I wouln't mind Mileena not being in as well (and she is one of my favorite characters).
 
Kenshi isn't going anywhere soon.
Ed has a Booner for Kenshi, and he's stated a few times that Kenshi is his 2nd favorite character (with Scorpion being his 1st).

The thing is Midway base MK around online activity and tournaments today, Boon said it himself, this is why 3 styles where introduced in the first place, so online usage = popularity for Mk characters today, they rather reuse the guys who players want to play with than the ones they don't

You should consider story mode as well. Sure.
They went for MK4 storyline, so of course Quan Chi will be there. Why they didn't use Sektor instead of Kano is the whole other question, maybe because they focused on Cage's family, so they decided to use a Sonya's familiar villain.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero need Noob Saibot to mess up things between them. I hope the next story will be away from Earthrealm - Outworld vs Netherealm war maybe.

Not really.
Online usage doesn't automatically = character popularity.

Why are those 3 are playable and on the main roster of MKX, then?
Story mode?
If that's your excuse, then it's weak, as those 3 could have easily just been cameo fodder.
 
I'm still surprised how Tanya is the last character, even after the storm of Tanya's at tournaments. I know she's been nerfed now, but she used to be a very powerful character and very easy to use.

She doesn't have a d**k, shes not a guest character, and shes a post MK3 character which means casuals aren't familiar with her. Only hardcore MK fans downloaded Tanya and Tremor, but Tremor gets more play cause male characters have more appeal. I mean theres like only one female character in the top ten most played, so that says something.

Last but not least, her design SUCKS and is half-assed and everyone knows it. If her design wasn't so plain and BORING, she'd be more appealing. I LOATHE the NRS team for up my favorite character and giving her a cheap wannabe Egyptian aesthetic.

Its natural that they are the bottom two because if there were no guests in the kombat packs, i guarantee the bottom 8 least used characters would all be DLC. The guests are only here because WB/NRS wants to milk the casual audience (and it worked, look at how high all the guests are). Its frustrating to see NRS wasting their time on guests, who'll only appear for one game, rather than promoting their own MK characters. They don't have faith in their own franchise.

DUDE! ARE YOU FRICKIN SERIOUS!?!?!? It has NOTHING to do with NRS. Warner Brothers made them put in those guest characters. Its a shame that some fans dont have faith in Midway anymore..... Oops NRS...
 
Jason is in a high spot really, but not Predator. I remember most of this forum going nuts and saying he would be the most sold/played guest and look where he is. Going up veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slowly. I believe Leatherface will debut in a higher place than Predator. I've been playing a lot online and facing a sea of Leatherfaces.

ps. the game isn't showing stats for Triborg, Leatherface, Bo Rai Cho and Alien, that's the why they're still not there.
