You think paying for XBL is a ripoff? $50 a year? (not including that there is usually a discount for XBL every other month) $50 a year = roughly $.14 a day. If you can't afford that, you need a less expensive hobby. Let's also not forget that Bing, MS's search engine, enables you to get some extra Microsoft Points. Bing rewards have paid for all my MK DLC thusfar. I don't mind paying $.14 a day, knowing that my XBL connection will be consistent and my financial security will not be in danger. After all the boasting the PS3 members of the Online MK communities did regarding their early demo and extra (suck-ass) character, I feel not one ounce of pity hearing that they have to pay more and don't have the season pass available to them. Loving my fairly-priced alt costumes and Skarlet btw.
Oh, and AAA titles? Yeah, I call ********. A majority of the great games coming out anymore are multiplatform, and I've played most of the PS3 exclusive titles, or have watched extensive gameplay. Heavy Rain/God of War/Uncharted/Infamous/Killzone/LBP simply don't hold a candle to Gears and Halo, to me. Sure, Halo and Gears get bashed a lot and there are more games on the PS3 list, but I prefer quality over quantity.. And to me, quality is found with the latter 2 games. This last part really isn't to argue 360 superiority as much as it is to defuse the logic that certain titles makes the PS3 superior, considering that the grade of specific games are relative.
