So I just got a Vita last week and I gotta say, I'm really liking it. It's a hell of a lot better than the PSP. I didn't care for the PSP at all to be honest. Even when it first came out, I was just like 'meh' with it. But the Vita is a step in the right direction. Everything feels smooth and fluent and the OLED screen looks amazing. I don't have any games for it at the moment because I put all my money towards either comics or Persona 4: The Golden which will come out for the Vita in 13 days (it's the reason I got a Vita besides Uncharted. I'll pick up MK at one point or another) so for the next 2 weeks, I'm just playing PS1 games on it from my PSN account to pass the time.
The battery life seems to be pretty damn good too. I was playing Symphony of the Night for a good 2 hours and it barely lost any life at all.
I don't like how it doesn't have a built in memory card. I mean, they really should have done that and just done like, 8,16 and 32 gb models with 16 and 32 having the whole 3G thing (I have the wifi only).
I only bought a 8 gig card for right now but I already know that it's going to be full once I get Persona 4: The Golden.
I also agree with past post saying they should have made it with PS2 compatibility. I am 100% positive that it can handle PS2 games. No doubt about it. I'm not sure what Sony's deal is with not making their newer stuff backwards compatible when it comes to PS2 stuff. Even with the new open top PS3 slim, they didn't add in PS2 backwards compatibility like they REALLY should have. But I digress.
