PS Vita Owners

The latest update is pretty cool, PSone games are now compatible. You can also navigate through the menu using the d-pad and buttons.

So I just got a Vita last week and I gotta say, I'm really liking it. It's a hell of a lot better than the PSP. I didn't care for the PSP at all to be honest. Even when it first came out, I was just like 'meh' with it. But the Vita is a step in the right direction. Everything feels smooth and fluent and the OLED screen looks amazing. I don't have any games for it at the moment because I put all my money towards either comics or Persona 4: The Golden which will come out for the Vita in 13 days (it's the reason I got a Vita besides Uncharted. I'll pick up MK at one point or another) so for the next 2 weeks, I'm just playing PS1 games on it from my PSN account to pass the time.

The battery life seems to be pretty damn good too. I was playing Symphony of the Night for a good 2 hours and it barely lost any life at all.

I don't like how it doesn't have a built in memory card. I mean, they really should have done that and just done like, 8,16 and 32 gb models with 16 and 32 having the whole 3G thing (I have the wifi only).

I only bought a 8 gig card for right now but I already know that it's going to be full once I get Persona 4: The Golden.

I also agree with past post saying they should have made it with PS2 compatibility. I am 100% positive that it can handle PS2 games. No doubt about it. I'm not sure what Sony's deal is with not making their newer stuff backwards compatible when it comes to PS2 stuff. Even with the new open top PS3 slim, they didn't add in PS2 backwards compatibility like they REALLY should have. But I digress.

You only need an 8 GB chip - Each major vita game is 3-4gb each 2-3gb for small titles. The vita allows you to save your games on to your PS3 for storage and will also save pics, vids, data, and games on to your CPU or external drive.

I remember when people thought COD was going to boost the Vita sales

Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified was met with a huge amount of mixed reviews at launch. But on Metacritic the game has fallen below Spy Hunter with a critic rating of 31/100 which makes it the lowest rated PS Vita game.

One website claimed it was the worst of the Call of Duty series

Despite a new lineup of strong software the PS Vita fails to impress Japanese gamers. The Nintendo 3DS managed to outsell the PS Vita by a massive 39:1 ratio. Full sales figures below:

3DS – 187,077
PlayStation 3 – 18,043
PSP – 12,076
PlayStation Vita – 4,021
Wii – 2,921
Xbox 360 – 2,908
PS2 – 1,187
DS – 424

I'm saving up for a PSVita for P4: The Golden and UMvC3.

I just want a nice system for on-the-go and I know if I got a 3DS I'd only get RE: Revelations.

PS Vita TTT2 Leak

All Credits to MyLifeIsAnRPG http://shoryuken.com/2011/11/21/rumor-tekken-tag-tournament-2-ps-vita-version-leaked/

Sure there have been plenty of rumors and speculation saying that Tekken Tag Tournament 2 would come to the PS Vita, but now we have some proof! The guys over at PS Vita Hub have obtained two images that pretty much confirm the existence of TTT2′s Vita version. The first image is just a photo of some box art, but it’s the second image that is really interesting.

It appears to be a screenshot of the character select screen, with a full roster at the bottom. You can tell that this is a Tag Tournament game because, as PS Vita Hub says, there is space to the left Kazuya for another character. There is also a pop-up window asking “Would you like to enable NEAR?”. For those of you who don’t know, NEAR is one of he PS Vita’s welcome apps, and according to the Hub, this may mean the game has some sort of 3G connectivity.

A portable fighting game that can literally be played anywhere in the world on a 3G connection? That’s pretty hype.
