I know that you would like it word from word, but I'm typing this from memory from last night. The phrase was very close to that if not that though.
I wonder if it holds any truth to it. I've never played VS mode with anybody else for several games, but whenever I quit, I'm always informed that I'll lose my progress if I quit now.
It could be referring to something as simple as the alternate costumes relating to other characters. Like Sub's alternate costume makes him look like Noob Saibot and Reptile's alt is his human form. I am still hopeful for a secret character though. It just wouldn't make sense for a game based on MK1 and MK2 to not have some kind of secret character unlocked by meeting an objective of some sort.
Edit: I'm playing through as Liu Kang right now and purposely dying on the boss fights to see their fatalities.
Anyhow, here's some new one(s) word for word.

No, I'm quite serious. Grab a second controller and load up VS mode. If each player picks Reptile, the second player's skin will be the human version of Reptile. Sub-Zero's secondary skin is nifty, but it's not truly Noob Saibot. Besides the obvious move difference, the secondary skin does not have the glow effect to his eyes, and his forearms are still frozen.

help kabal or somthing like that, I did this go to the waste land and climb up the wall with a sword normally you would go across the bridge but now if you keep going you'll see a part where you can wall jump get up there and you'll see bodies blocking a entrance use the sword to get rid of them then go through the door there will be shokan throwing boulders at you from a distance dodge them and get to a latter you will keep repeating this till you get to the top then there will be a movie scene where kung loa throws his hat at the cage and kabal without his mask drops out, liu kang asks if kabal will help them defeat sho kahn but he says he would help with kahn since he dont like him either but has to get back to his clan to warn them of a traiter then runs off but comes back to drop his hook swords on the ground I dont know if you can pick them up but if yuo seach up there you will find a secret and you get alot of exp

you have to help jax I actually know what that means too, to find out go to the last level where you fight shang tsung (armary?) and talk to kitana 3 times then gaurds will come out kill them and go into the door they came out of it will be a prison and jax will be trying to open it to free sonya when he does he also frees kano fight kano with jax kill him then jax gives you a life upgarade and leaves with sonya so now when you go tho fight those last 3 battles sonya and kano wont be there any more but there will be a medium health examen it when low on health an it will say jax has left you some thing it dis aperes and reaperes at the bottum of the arena.

I was thinking about the "Sheeva! Sheeva! Sheeva!" message..........
after you beat Tusng.......the audience chants "Kintaro! Kintaro! Kintaro!" and Kahn answers their pleas and you fight Kintaro.............perhaps if you do something they chant Sheeva and you fight her.
