Alright, Noob Saibot is the original Sub Zero, he defeated many gods obtaining an amulet for Shinnok, and eventually beat Shinnok himself. However, Sub-Zero number 2, eluded cyborgs, became the grand master of the Lin Kuei, was good enough at fighting to be able to train a student, and now has ancestral armor that makes him even stronger. Who do you guys think would win?
 
Now that it has been revealed that Noob is current Sub's big brother, I'd say Noob. He has much credibility to gain from Sub-Zero's death and would not hesitate to kill him by any means necessary. I love Sub-Zero but this is just how it is.
 
I don't know . . . I suppose I'd say classic, but I think it'd be quite the fight. What'd be REALLY cool is if Klassik killed the new Subby, took his armor, medallion, etc., and took over the Lin Kuei.

I would think that Noob Saibot would be the victor in the match between the two. The reason being is that both have been Lin kuei trained and possess or have possesed frost powers associated with the Sub Zero moniker. The difference being that with addtion to the frost powers, Noob has shadow powers that he now uses. So Sub Zero would be disadvantaged in a fight between the two because Noob would most likely be immune to his frost powers, while subby is not immune to his shadow skills. Also Noob now has Smoke to get his back and Sub Z's protege Frost "iced" her self. So I would have to say the the victory would go to Noob. Plus Noob is Sub Zeros big brother, and as a big brother I know no matter how tough my little brothers get, some universal rule comes into effect and I alway whoop their asses.

I think a Noob S. Vs Sub Zero rivalry would be shweet for MK7

I agree. But IMO, itd be cooler if he were to take sub's armor, and thus some how combined his old sub-zero powers, new brotherhood of shadow powers, and new subzero power (obtained from his bro and bro's armor) and through the consolidation some how came out a weird shadow/lin kuei hybrid, and used this awesome power to eradicate the lin kuei. furthering his cause to rule, as stated in his end story.
 
um I don't usually get into these kind of arguments, but I must ask, why would Noob necessarily be immune to freezing just because he has the same power? Sub-Zero is not immune to freezing, nor was Frost.
 
Yeah, Izzy the Lizzy stated the bit about Noob being immune to cold powers. Izzy also stated that this was not fact but most likely in his opinion, so it's really just speculation. Despite Noob's immunity to cold or not, he would still end up victor, he has learned too much since his death. Still, the fight would be awesome and perhaps close. This feud needs to be explored in the next MK.
 
hmm this is a tough one... i said younger since he's been through so much training after the 2nd tourny but now that i really think of it, so has classic subbie after he died (as noob.... for thoughs just joining in)

either way i can see Scorps sitting on the sidelines eating popcorn greatly enjoying himself

then killing the weakedned loser just cause...
 
I voted Sub-zero but here's how i think it will happen, Noob will kill Sub in battle and become the new Sub-zero so then the younger one will become Noob and come after his brother and then kill him via his new powers and i mean KILL him not make he Noob again
 
I would say Noob Saibot would win. I'm not relating to any stories at all, just character moves/attacks/styles. Noob Saibot already knows Younger Sub-Zero's attacks, as Noob was Sub-Zero before him. If you look back to Ultimate MK3, Noob has the ability to spawn a clone of himself and do a freezing-type of move. Younger Sub-Zero also has less experience as a fighter.

Gawd, I'm probably going to get flamed for this one. ._.
