Plot Hole in SZ ending?

Well in SZ's ending Raiden told him that the Lin Kuie were responsible for the murdering of Scorpion's family and clan + his own.

But we know that Quan Chi was responsible for the murdering of the family and clan of Scorpion. So why did Raiden told SZ so much ********?
 
I don't know, that whole ending is just screwy. What family of Sub-Zero is there for the Lin Kuei to even murder in the first place? We know about his brother, but that's it. No other references exist that I know of.

They definitely could have elaborated a bit. Still, I kinda like the idea of the two teaming up to be super heroes or whatever the hell.

1 Lin Quei gives Elder Sub-Zilcho the contract to retrieve the map, probably well aware that Quan is sending Scorpion as well...

2 Sub-Zilcho kills Scorpion

3 Scorpion's clan is killed by Quan, which probably would have happened to the Lin Quei had Sub-Zilcho failed.

4 Quan resurrects Scorpion to kill Sub-Zilcho, which was probably what the Lin Quei Grandmaster had in mind (I doubt Sub-Zilcho would have been very happy about the Cyber Initiative)

I think Quan Chi wanted Sub-Zero dead after the latter decided to foil his and Shinnok's plans. QC probably wanted revenge, since SZ gave both him and Shinnok quite a beatdown.

I believe they were referring to just Bi Han being murdered on Sub-Zero's end. Also remember they said the Lin Kuei was responsible for the deaths that doesn't mean that they killed Bi Han directly. But by using the old Sub-Zero as a pawn a domino effect was created starting with the death of Scorpion and his clan and ultimately ending with the death of Bi Han by Scorpions hand.
 
Don't forget, in story mode when quan chi convinced scorpion to kill sub zero, bi han saw the visions quan chi showed scorpion and was like, wait, bro, that wasn't me!

Quan Chi used sorcery to make the lin kuei THINK that sub zero was leading them to kill Scorpion's clan maybe?
 
Quan Chi didn't single handedly kill the entire Shirai Ryu. He probably had Lin Kuei with him when he did it. The revelation in the ending is that the Lin Kuei was also responsible for the murder of Bi-Han and Kuai Liang's parents.

Not like it matters, since

So i got it wrong. I thought the ending of SZ said that Lin Kuei but no SZ killed Scorpion family, but i didnt get the "sub zero' family" thing.
 
So you know sub-0 and how sub-nil with sub-ziltch I mean WTFASDASD MIND ****.

But yeah I agree, I still think it's cool how they team up because they were both fooled by Quan-Chi (He's such a dick)
