PC version of Mortal Kombat 9...

Fix for the limited video settings, like i though game is limiting these settings based on VRAM:

Modified the dxdiag.txt file located in User\AppData\Roaming\MKKE and put 2048 instead of the default value in "Dedicated memory" in the "Display Devices" section.

Finally! Now i can set Ultra High Shadows and 8xMSAA, and guess what? Game still works in 60fps on FHD resolution for me. :)

So just like i said that Recommended SR were lame!
 
Today I noticed about a 10 FPS drop in the graveyard stage with the soulnado, it was definitely noticeable but after that every other stage and fight was still 60 fps. Hopefully a patch will help that out.

After several tries online is just pure garbage for me. The lag is simply unbearable, I just don't understand how anything can be this bad. Horrendous, the character select screen is a nightmare, connection lost messages in the middle of a fight. Advice to everyone: do yourselves a favor and view MK9 as an offline only game, the netcode is clearly disfunctional.

Also just a question: is there any way to disable the mic of the guy I'm playing against?

Your 6850 is only 1-2% slower than GTX560. Stop it.
You should see how game will run on slower cards. as i said it 100 times, for ex a GTX460 is'nt enough for the game.

Recommended for ATI is Radeon HD 6950 which is really... funny! :) Sorry but i have to.
 
Let us not forget Rider, your 6850 is overclocked too.

Edit: Plus, think of it this way. What if the recommended was a stock 6850 and there were occasions, say like during x rays, where it dropped below 60FPS? Not only would the port be considered "bad" because it can't play at what they said it could, but also they gave you incorrect SR because you actually need a better card. In this case, better to up the SR just a tad to guarantee 60FPS. Just my opinion of course.

Something is seriously f.u.c.k.i.n.g. wrong. Every time I enter the online mode, I cannot see any other rooms besides the 8 default ones, bearing names from the MK universe - Chaosrealm, Goro's Lair and so on. And noone is there - all rooms contain 0 people. What the f.u.c.k.? There should be other rooms - West Europe, UK and so on, shouldn't it? Doesn't matter if I refresh - it stays the same.

You must select Join Room and then select Western Europe. It is the most popular online group of the game it is fulll of people alll the time. So go and play in Western Europe group. No problems for me so far at this mode(full of people and no lag), but i have lot of problems in other modes. Some people say that online is better than console version while some others are saying that it is the same as it is on consoles. I dont know who to believe! GUYS YOU MUST TELL TO EFVRYONE ON STEAM MORTAL KOBMBAT FORUM AND OTHER FORUMS TO USE ONLY JOIN ROOM WESTERN EUROPE BECAUSE THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT DONT HAVE PROBLEMS (so far at least) Pos this message on mortal kombat steam forums and all other pc forums!

What Western Europe? There is NO such option - all I can see are those 8 empty rooms. After I press Join Room, I am presented with a default list of 8 empty rooms and that's it. Western Europe is not one of them.

Turn antialiasing off in video options, then check online rooms.
(found that "fix" on some forum, dunno if it actually works as i don't have any problems)
