I was having the automatic setting optimisation crash too. But I fixed it for myself by finding the MKKE options.ini file that's in C:\Users\*insert your name here*\AppData\Roaming\MKKE and setting configured=true I didn't have to do anything else special. I then spent 7 hours playing the game yesterday.
D half the time I did not even see what the other guy was doing... won a round just by button mashing.

Seriously does anyone use XP today? Install Windows 7/8.
Though i have to say that i don't know why XP is not supported.
I will not say that they lied but they didn't say truth that this game is DX10/11 only! It works in DX9 and doesn't even use DX11 why they did this i am not sure.

Well honestly what did you expect? Win XP is currently used by 7% of Steam users and it's a 12 year old operating system.

I have a problem:
When i finally donwloaded, and Installed the game through the Steam, I launched it first time... everything was OK, but I wanted to see, how many FPS I have... then I exited from MK9, and started Razer Game Booster, and tried to start MK9, but it wasn't worked... and i can't start MK9 yet... When I start MK9, the Logo comes up, and goes away fast, and the MKKE.exe process shuts down fast in the Task Manager...
So, the first time, MK9 worked well, but then i can't launched it... and i can't launch it yet too...
Is there a problem between Razer Game Booster and MK9 compability? Or is this a problem, that I changed the video settings to see, how the game runs?
I have a Dell N5010 Laptop with: Intel i3 M 380 (2.53 GHz), ATI Mobility Raden HD 5650, Windows 8 (64 bit), 4 GB of RAM, and I dont have more video cards...
Is this a bug or I did something wrong?

well,my computer is trash now,gonna wait for couple of year if i wanna play this game !

I think I have the recommended requirements, and I have 40-50 FPS always, and i am not lagging, but it is slow, like a slow motion...

Sorry but you are far away from recommended SR.
You have mobile CPU and GPU so be happy with 40fps.
Turn shadows to medium/high. Or textures to medium.
