I have feeling that with GMG sales and Steam it actually may suprise WB and Boon, so Injustice might definitely making it's way on PC, as well as future games.

That right, they will be suprised by the high sales numbers just like capcom were suprsied by SSF4 AE pc high sales numbers, and i remeber it was only 2 weeks after SSF4 AE release on pc that Yoshinori Ono said that capcom was pleased with the sales and then they brought SFXTK on pc and Sven promised that from now on all of their new fighters will come to pc. Same thing will happen in MK9 case. Injusitce pc version now is only a matter of when not if.

@ZaxxxerDog - I like it how you are 100 % sure of something, that isnt yet confirmed by the developers or publishers.
PS: What I will gain ? No steamworks on retail = me giving money to high voltage studios. They will gain my money, isnt it what this is all about in the end ? Also the comparison with steam and GPU drivers was waay off and inaccurate.
PPS : Mandatory ? You make me install crappy software - I don't buy your products. This is how it works with me. It will cost them literally nothing to release a steam/gfwl free retail copy of the game and that's what i am counting on, if I am to give my money. It is but a simple request.

If a game has multiplayer on PC you just can't split up the community with using a different kind of DRM software in each release of the game, that's never gonna happen.All you need to accept is the fact that Steam's not a crappy software. What would you get instead of Steamworks? SECUROM? Starforce? Damn, I hate those things, I don't want them but of course if you buy a game that has these kind of protections you're installing their crappy disc checkers.

Precisely my point. No idea why Ultramarine keeps insisting that, simply because nobody SPECIFICALLY announced the retail version will bear the Steam logo, that isn't gonna happen. I thought it was implied, that's why.

I though that GMG will not accept my card but it did so it really is great deal.
There is no point in waiting for Steam because it will be 30 euros. Even if it is 20 euros (but that would never happen) it is cheaper because i think that GMG is in $ for everyone.

Okay, we'll comment again - later, when there are more facts on the subject. I'll answer you ionicle - > because there is NO INFO WHATSOEVER. Even Amazon, dammit, look there - digital version has drm listed as steam, but not for the retail pre-order. You cant preorder something 2 months before its release and realize what DRM it uses 2 days before launch now, can you ??

Actually, that's been done before with some (not all) game ports like on other personal computer platforms like Mac & Linux. What happens however is.. if you get the non-steam version you might have to do without certain features like multiplayer... or you can only multiplayer with others who have the same edition. Still, it's not such a good thing to split up the community and people do complain about it. Especially if it's a "campaign edition" which is basically a version of the game with single player only because they did a middleware-ectomy.
So let's say they do a non-steam version. As far as I'm concerned it'd either be single player only or come with some other MP middleware such as the much maligned GFWL.
That is of course unless they rolled their own multiplayer middleware like Rockstar did. That game has cross store (and probably cross platform to PC) multiplayer on the Mac because of that (it's both on Steam and the Mac App Store).

I logged in GMG using my facebook account and when i click the prepurchace button nothing happens. Why? Help please!!
Also since i live in Greece this means that Gmg might not be able to accept euro paycards? Or does it accept evrything? Does it accept paysafe cards from Greece??

For how many more days will the coupon last? If Steam offers the same discount for preroders that GMG has then i will buy from steam. But if not then i will buy grom GMG

God will you stop whining!, we begged and pleaded for this game, many for a Steam release so don't moan.
Steam is now a way of life for the PC games and the PC gamer. If you have a problem, stick to consoles. You will probably find it is pretty much the same thing.

And don't expect it to be cheaper on Steam. It will be 30 euros.
And GMG is always cheaper because of $.

I am trying to preorder it.. It seems like they dont accept Paysafe card. I created a new account then it asked me to fill my info and after it says th chosee how i want to pay. In the card list that i must choose from it dosent include paysafe card(that what i use to buy things from internet) and so i can not buy it from them ! Seems like i will have to buy it from steam.

I'm most excited for this game because I can't wait to see what the modding community does with it, mostly graphically.
I'll definitely be picking this up.
@UltraMarine, regardless of where you buy it, it'll be the same game with the same DRM and the same netcode: Steam. It costs too much money to have different versions of the game released. It probably cost about 1 million just to have it ported to PC.
