PC version of Mortal Kombat 9...

i know the answer! I spoke with Misucra today! He told me that he is improving netcode himself and that in a few days it will be finished and he will release it. I think that maybe he posted a link somewhere of his netcode and people downloaded it? I told him to sent it to WB after he finish it and then WB all will have to do is release it through a patch.

I have just played a few games with a very skilled player, allmost couldnt move. I was very happy until he started using X-rays just to be sure i wount take a round of him :( .THis remainds me why we humans are so ugly :(. I mean when you have hundreds and hundreds of hours in this game and play a far weaker player to still use that "pussy" combos ! Was it a contest ? No... was just him and his ugly caracter. And the the bad thing is i have only met 2 players that play at that lvl and bouth acted the same ( use x-rays just to be sure ou wont take a round ). Pathetic ! Pathetic !

It's not pathetic imo. It is a move IN the game it's totally normal ppl will use them.
I suck at MP i won maybe 2-3 rounds but played only around 70-80 and i use X-ray and ppl i am playing with use it. And i think that it's ok. Some ppl i played with used magic moves all the time and like freezing (I hate it so much btw.) i wad kinda mad at first but it is normal ppl will use X-rays and these powerful moves. You have to try to be better and block these X-rays.

Yeah basically if there is a tool to be used, use it. Some people are very competitive and if they are prepared to do anything to win, you must be too, or else you'll lose. Sorry but there's no "fair play" in a game like this. If using an X-Ray is the difference between a win and a loss, you can guarantee players will hit the X-Ray without a second thought. If you don't want to use X-Ray's, that's your choice, but don't complain when other people beat you because of them. Like I said, they're are a tool to be used. I may sound harsh but I'm afraid it's the truth.

You dont realy get my point, donno why im even trying. Must be from the age difference, seems that players nowadays know less and less about "respect" and "fairplay". "The WE POWN generation" :)

Pathetic !

That's like entering a Street Fighter match, holding off from using super combos, and whining about lack of fair play when the other player uses it.

It's only about being a good sport really: if I play multiplayer and I am a lot better than my opponent (and you guys really misunderstand what we're talking about, it's about situations when you can't do a damn thing against your opponent) I usually give the guy a break, let him do something, for example if I play Starcraft 2 and I have to play against a Bronze League player I don't proxy or rush too early. The only exception occurs when the guy is a jerk (and you'll find a lot of jerks in SC2, it's a problem since launch) of course. :D

Play more SF4 and you'll be surprised: there are a lot of players who wreck your ass in the first round then hold back in the second or even let you win one round against them.

Shao Kahn says "YOU ARE PATHETIC".
Fair play ? How it is that guys fault that you suck at the game ? For what a guy should respect a person who he has never met and probably never will, that sucks at the game and whines about it on forums instead of improving ?
If you don't want him to use Xrays on you, make him use brakers. If you attack someone who has full meter from close range without combo there are huge chances that you will be punished with Xray. It is nearly impossible to land an Xray on somebody who is turtling. (There are few characters who can combo in their xrays).
I hate whiners who want everybody to play with same style so much.

Does it says between my lines that i suck at the game ? :) im actualy pritty darn good for a guy who played the game for 8 days. You realy missunderstood what i said for whining. As ZaxxerDog said some guis give chances to players when they see they are far weaker in skill. Thats pritty much what i also do but problem is some guis i think they get really anoyed by what i do in the second round if i win to badly the first round. The second round all i do is control the health bars so if the time ends and he doesnt kill me he loses, hmm... maibe some guis get very frustrated, Its a chance tho and some times they get very agresive and i lose so i guess its good manered :) ( That was meant as a joke of sorts )

I actualy start to think that if you played with that skilled player and lost by "being beaten to a pulp" after two games you would've pressed NO. I actualy played about 10 games and from game 3 4 he started using X-rays. BTW those were not Ranked matches ( OFC ), there were friendle matches, in rooms. No bad feeling about a guy who uses X-Ray's in Ranked matches, i did the same.

Take this as a TIP, BuGeris, that is not limited to games.
When you get very good at something in your life and you see someone that strugles try to help him improve as well ( well not if he steals your payroll in the process )

Well, that's up to the other player to be a good sport if he sees you're in clear disadvantage. Props to those who do it.
It's an entirely different thing to be on competitive terms and whine because the other guy wrecked you with an x-ray.

No need for that. At what point did I say I was one of those competitive players who's only goal is to win? I'm saying the X-Ray is a tool to be used just like a breaker or an enhanced special move. If you don't want to use it that's your choice, but surely you can understand why we aren't that sympathetic to someone complaining about an opponent using a move that you also can use?

As for it being a friendly, either you didn't state it, or I missed, that you weren't playing a ranked match. But either way, I still don't see the problem. If you want to show a bit of sportsmanship, good on you, but don't expect others to be like that, especially if you don't know the player you are fighting. The people I have played online I know from TRMK and so we play both competitively, and also friendly when one of us has a bad day or picks a character we are unfamiliar with or something.

To be honest, not to sound like a whiny b***h, but I'm rather annoyed you are generalizing me with this whole "younger players don't know anything about fair play and respect" thing. I know a lot about fair play and respect. You are the one calling people pathetic. Show some respect yourself maybe?

Perhaps next time when I play NHL 13 and get a huge lead, I should remove my goalie, so my opponent can at least score on me.

Any pretenses of honor should be thrown out the window. Players grow when they are forced to adapt to everything that is thrown at them. People who constantly cry "cheap" are setting up a mental barrier for themselves because they don't want to deal with tactics they are not comfortable with.

Yes you are right i shouldnt've said Pathetic so agresive towards you, im sorry.

Let me Refrase. All those that dont understand that TIP i gave BuGeris are Pathetic.

No problem.

I think there's a line somewhere but it's just difficult to see. Yes the players who aren't so good, we should help them when we can. But at the same time, being tough on them is one of the ways to make people better. That was the treatment I got on FIFA. I sucked, my mate was amazing, and he never went easy on me. However at the end of a match, he would point out what I did wrong and why he managed to beat me. I learned from it and now I'm a good player. I learned by playing against someone who was playing to their max. Go easy on a player who isn't as skilled and they may not pick up on some of the things the better players are doing and then they don't grow either.

Like I say, a fine line to walk, but in a competitive match, rules and respect are out the window, you play to win. Just my point of view of course.
