PC Version / General Discussion Thread

So are we making that steam community page for those who will only be getting the pc version? i feel that there is more people interested this time around.

Were you the one who posted on Shoryuken as well about your progression to create MKX cabinet? Doesn't matter whether it's yes or no, gorgeous picture!
 
Thanks for the comments on the cab. It was built a while ago but has been updated several times to make it more like an original Vewlix. It's still in mint condition surprisingly. I'll be updating the marquee with MKX artwork.

[MENTION=18033]FobinenHege[/MENTION], the build log for this cab was posted on SRK a few years ago now and I haven't posted specifically on an MKX version.

Seeing the game played now, it really looks like it will need a 'meter mod' -- 1/3-meter breakers, 2/3-meter X-rays, no meter gain for wiffed spams, less meter for attacks blocked, stamina loss for attacks and less stamina loss for dashing...

What shall we name it? I can start one since we obviously don't have one. Do you want it to be TRMK specific or would other places like Reddit, gamefaqs) be ok? Public or Private?

The countdown on the steam store ends at I think something like 10am - noon in their time zone (it's late, I'm tired, I can't remember specifics), so the worry is the game won't unlock until then, which may be even later in the day depending on where you are.

Though I've read conflicting comments. Many say this is when Steam always unlocks stuff (I've never preordered on Steam before so I don't know personally), while some point out that other games such as WB's Shadow of Mordor did in fact unlock shortly after midnight, despite the timer saying there was another 10-12 hours.

Where's the P2 console?
 
It's very, very rare that Valve unlock games at midnight. Maybe for big AAA releases like a new CoD game (don't buy them so no idea) but the vast majority of games are released at 1800 GMT for me. Valve are based in Seattle IIRC, so they tend to release stuff in the morning of their time zone, which is PST. So to whoever said 10 AM their time... that makes a lot of sense.

I very much doubt the PC version will be released at midnight tonight.

Ill say TRMK specific since is gonna have the forum dudes who play the game there for the most part, but we may have to ask here if we can do it.

If we can do it we should call it like TRMK PC Community or something like that. If we want to expand on that and just make an open community for MKX players on PC then maybe we can think of a more though out name.
