Other then Scorp and Zero…

I seem to be the only one that actually liked Shujinko. I thought he was cool, especially when he was an old man. I also liked Cyrax and Sektor.
 
The only characters I never EVER use are Bo'Rai Cho, Darrius and Dairou, but my favourite characters (aside from Subby and scorpion <3) are Havik, Noob, Raiden, Mileena, Cyrax and Kung Lao. Liu Kang is good but the turkey call gets annoying. Oh, Kenshi also rocks.
 
In MK3 [the mk ive played the most] Kabal was my highest ranking player in terms of hours racked up using him. Then came Cyrax, Sektor and Sindel. Then Jax, Liu Kang. Smoke strangley enough I didn't use that much until UMK3. As for all the new players in MKDA and MKD, I never play those two games, so I wouldn't have a clue really. I just can't get into and enjoy the new generation MK games and I don't know why.

I must admit that Shang Tsung is a character that I used alot when playing in the arcades. Especially MK3, where you could have alot of fun doing all of the morphs and all the other characters fatalities. I used to get bored with just one player, hence using the original sorcerer was the go.

But I also like his cheesy [not really cheesy:mrgreen: ] 3 flaming skulls move, you could do that almost endlessly with great effect against both the computer and human opponents. I can see, AMG, that your favourite version of him is from MKII?

Yeah, I became huge fan of Shang Tsung during MK2, and it's still my favorite version of him. I've always found his character very appealing in both the story and his abilities. Mastering all his character morphs opened up the whole character catalog of special moves and fatalities. There is just something very gratifying about morphing into your opponent and using their special moves and fatality against them, at any time.

I hear ya, dude. I used to love doing that "morph into your opponent" thing all the time. How I miss the arcades and playing MK against a varied assortment of opponents. The whole atmosphere was unbeatable in my opinion. And to me it something that I will never ever forget.
 
i guess you could say that if you master shang tsung you have to be sure you've mastered everyone else. you can still avoid using his morphs and win but knowing the morphs and figuring out what character will suit your strategy at the time is something else. its a shame that shang tsung doesn't have his morphs present on a current generation console as the console could handle the morph times etc. back on the psx it wasn't possible which was a shame. with any luck mka will have them but i highly doubt it. that would require a bit of work and im wondering if boon and his boonies will do that:p

although i just realised that the midway arcade treasures which has mk2/mk3 on it would have no loading times so you can to a point, but then you still cant access some of the arcade cheats since midgay made the select and start buttons pause :hmmmm:

Yeah, gay alright. I still haven't been able to access/unlock or use Smoke in the "MAT Vol #2 MK3" I know you have to enter the "Ultimate Kombat Code" after you complete a game, but I couldn't be bothered.
 
dude ive never ever entered in an ultimate kombat kode. generally by the time the console version came out the codes to unlock them through cheat menus was available. not only that Mame has a cheat file you download which unlocks them by simply accessing through the ingame cheat menu.

MAT2 is careless programming when it comes to mk2/mk3.

Prunes are disgusting, man. And I really don't see the attraction to Sheeva. She/It is one female that turns me off women. I'd rather hookup with a Klingon woman. The only thing remotely attractive about Sheeva is all too obvious. I'll give you a small clue. She has 4 hands:mrgreen:

anyway some of my faves are reptile, kabal, stryker (his MKT movelist was awesome), human smoke, johnny cage (mk2 version was the best, nut punch Yahoi), kitana (mk2), Kano (MKT). apart from that most if not all are great. meaning each one has their own strengths/weaknesses that you can get around.
 
Sub Zero and Scorpion are cool, out of the two i prefer Sub Zero. But i think that people like Cyrax are cooler than them.
